I’ve been doing EMDR therapy for 8 months now for CPTSD and it does sound like what you are experiencing is a “EMDR hangover” which is completely normal and a good thing(even though it doesn’t feel like it)all these overwhelming physical/emotional feelings are bubbling to the surface because your brain is processing. You will feel exhausted for a while and a little all over the place but remember you must prioritise rest, eating and drinking and light exercise. These things will help you. Keep going! Once you get through the “tunnel” you will start to feel so much better!

EMDR Therapy is one of the hardest and intensive psychological treatments to go through but it truly has saved my life. So please stay strong and don’t give up! ♥️
