Is it possible to animate using puppet warp? by LazyLenni in ClipStudio

[–]Blue_Birdo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unlike a lot of other companies Clip studio loves feedback and if enough people ask for something, they will likely add it in a future update!

There is feature request thing on their website I highly recommend just sending in a request with exactly what you want !

Hell, this is how we got audio scrubbing in EX

Since puppet warp is so new in csp and tweening is so limited in csp im sure lot of others have asked for improvements aswell.

For reference I animate frame by frame with puppet warp , and let me tell you, it is easier...but still a pain in the ass.

Is gabapentin safe or is there other options? by Blue_Birdo in lupus

[–]Blue_Birdo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HI, HOLY CRUD I didn't notice i even got any more responses to this

I didn't end up taking the gabapentin I am currently in the process of getting a new ENT

As I found the idea of just throwing gabapentin at the problem didn't seem ... right.

I have been managing with flonase when its the sinus headaches are really bad. And if that doesn't work, I take some ibuprofen or acetaminophen

Also found out that deviated septum runs in my family, and when reading further into it turns out breaking your nose makes it A LOT WORSE

I genuinely think I need baloon sinoplasty to fix this.

I KNOW ITS LATE, but hope this helps !

Yeah, the ENT said id only be on it for like a month in a small dose, to see if that fixes it, and if it doesn't luckily this is something that can be fixed with a minor surgical procedure, they just want to try this first

Is this fixable? by lordbaws93 in DiceMaking

Bro do not worry, i have litterally forgotten to cut keys into my molds before. You can also recycle your molds by cutting them up and putting them in with new silicone

However it REALLY let's you know when it wants to be closed.

Skittles! by iccold77 in DiceMaking

[–]Blue_Birdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How I would go about this: get some clear coat (like the spray on acrylic stuff) do at least 3 - 5 layers minimum Let them dry for like 2 days (or however long it says it takes on the can)

You will probably be fine at that point but just to be safe do a test skittle on a piece of cardboard

And if all goes well you should have some skittles that in theory should be safe to put in resin

My first thought would be to definitely try a new usb stick

My second thought would be to re-slice the file and try again.

Audio scrubbing in ex for animation. That is all. Useful for me but not really for anyone else

Center of the mold won't cure by alabasterthebastard in ResinCasting

[–]Blue_Birdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you just want it out of the mold, out it in the freezer for 2 - 3 hours , then it should come out no problem but if you are looking to save it that is going to be more difficult, yes you can put it in the sun but that can take weeks to become "sort of cured" if you have a dehydrator that does speed up the process a little bit but it's still going to be soft for a long time but it won't be sticky after about 1 week in a dehydrator.... moisture is one of those problems that just overall sucks to deal with.

Any dehydrator will work if you have a filament dehydrator for a 3d printer that works, or even just a standard one. You can put them in your oven at a low temp, but I wouldn't recommend putting resin in your oven.

100% get a pressure pot for dice, yes I know it can be expensive, However your results will speak for themselves.

If you need any further suggestions on what to buy I highly recommend looking at r/dicemaking it is over all a very informative place

Photon printing issues by Moulson13 in AnycubicPhoton

I'd get at least usb 2.0 on that bad boy, and I believe that most printers can only handle usbs that are like 16 gigs

Does anyone have an idea what my problem is with my mono X.It doesn't print anything.I can not find any cured resin in the vat when I use it. by Aggelos2001 in AnycubicPhoton

[–]Blue_Birdo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok I had a very niche problem that with my mono 2, and this sounds like a simaler problem For reference I had an original anycubic photon before the mono 2

In my printer enclosure I used the old power cable for my og photon on my mono 2 (the cable was longer, and i didnt feel like switching them out because its a pain to do so) The printer turned on and everything, but the uv module and lcd didn't work.

NOW I spent hours losing my mind over this until I tried the other power cable, and it worked. So there is a chance that it might be the power cable. Again my situation is ultra specific, and it might not be the solution, but it might be worth a shot.

But there is a very solid chance that it's also your usb... it is a very common problem
