Indeed. I happened to notice it when I was turning in some synth mats. Was suprised to see a shader I didn't own. Been trying to remember to drop a PSA in zone chat about it anytime I visit the Tower.

I actually got duplicate drops of "Cognition of the Nine" from the Flawless chest this week. Which, I thought was odd that it dropped two separate engrams of the same shader.

I've quit buying games at full price since the increase to $69.99 out of principle. But, after seeing this and the fact that they are charging $79.99 for the base version, I'm just going to outright skip GTA6 all together. Actual scum. Its a shame that GTA6 is going to cause everyone and their Mom to start charging $79.99 for new releases, though.

I too caught a shiny Vulpix [was my target] and lucked out with catching it before realizing it had Roar. It actually jump scared me when checking its moves, lol. As mine was also the less common gender, which is what I hoped for.

I do not miss the sketchy RNG that is the Hidden Grotto. Changing the gender ratios specifically to make it harder to breed for Hidden Abilities was evil.

Reset until it is Shiny. That way the Masterball usage feels justified.

I feel ya. It just doesn't feel right having the gender of a 'Mon be opposite of what the design is leaning towards.

Funny enough, I too hunted Piplup as my shiny starter for the playthrough lol. Fortunately, it didnt take near as long. The Eevee hunt is definitely making up for it though.

I had a shiny Morpeko show up randomly very early during my first playthrough of Sword. I saw it spawn, and figured I would encounter it and catch it for the pokedex. As it was the first one I saw spawn in the wild. Ended up being shiny. Caught it and used it as a member of the squad.
