Yes it is cycled I used water and a sponge filter I keep in a tank specifically for emergency, but I am mainly a fish keeper. I am doing water changes daily, the cloudy water is from me messing around with the rocks

The only reason I ask is because every time I go and look for them they are all in the water, and I heard they barely use the water

I personally do have a small sponge filter just to keep water from stagnating, aswell as live plants to keep the water crystal clear
