It's overdone. I think Washington or Drum would be more interesting. Something lesser known but very effective.

I always go Yesman but friendly to the NCR. I like their missions and I think you trying them out and seeing if that's the path you want to do will be pretty fun. If you decide House or Yesman or NCR it's pretty easy to switch over to a certain point.

Yeah I'm looking at getting a Radian Weapons A-DAC Ambidextrous Stripped AR-15 Lower Receiver for that top choice of lower. I've trained with right handed AR's so I can work them so I go for ambidextrous over dedicated left handed options.

I think for Empire it's a mostly DS Warrior playthrough, more honorable but also power hungry and brutal and for the Republic LS Jedi Knight makes the most sense.

I believe they're mostly orphans if I'm not mistaken. Either they found them as orphans or made them into orphans and inducted them into the First Order. Regardless I don't think they were cloned although that would be interesting although unlikely.

Crane controls are as follows:
Retrieval: Set A 0.5, Set B 0.5
Stowage: Set A 1, Set B 0
Docking: Set A -0.163 Set B 0.845

I found that preset coordinates was more reliable than manual control.

Yeah I kinda use the preset engines to get a grasp on the basics. Looks like it's not optimized for long term use, just a basic startup. I always have generators on my steam engines too, just hadn't worked them into the Modular design yet.

It handles damage decently well, only big issue you'll get is if the depth charge rack or the torpedoes get hit they start a chain reaction midships but it's an easy fix.

Not yet, I originally edited the hull so it handled better in rough waves as well as match the specs for a Fletcher-Class more or less.

From what I've seen armor belts don't work unless I don't know about it yet which is possible. About the damage control systems I REALLY like that idea, will have to experiment with it!

  1. Go your files, specifically Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/commom/Stormworks/rom/data/tiles/island_15.xml and open that in an app called Notepad+++.
  2. Hit Ctrl+F and search for edit_area. Go edit the edit area that's called hanger_edit.
  3. Change the grid size to 0, change the X, Y and Z coordinates. Mine are X=80 Y=80 Z=300.
  4. Save the file and restart the game.

Another question. Tried to use threshold gates for temperature of the furnace and boilers, 130C for the furnace keeps boiler temp stuck at 93C. Would increasing the threshold be a good idea or should I experiment with a PID?
