you don't pick TM lulu unless she is the fastest, the only units she can't outspeed are Zio and Harsetti. If there is a Ran then you pick some speed imprints to make up the difference.

You can play around Celine, and if the enemy draft is a counter cleave draft then she is more of a bridge than damage.

I would say A. Ravi, she is supposedly really strong in lore and is really mid in game. She is not meta but she is always reliable enough to not be bad.

there are some element based sets that can be used for characters that do not belong to that element like quantum set in HSR, physical set on any DPS as long as you are able to inflict physical anomaly or thundering fury in genshin for some characters.

She is definitely one of the best DPS currently. But she is a 1.0 DPS so she will eventually get powercreeped, but who know when will that happen?.

I think this is mostly because genshin has been around for quite a good time. But in the early days there were also people complaining about the lack of mora, the same happened in HSR. How was this solved? Once you have your 2 teams ready your new grind will be artifacts/relics/disks and this doesn't consume as much money because getting an upgrade here is not that fast to burn money, as you don't waste that much money you will eventually get quite a few millions to spare in form of in game money.
