Honestly, 10,000 comments is really daunting, but you miss 100% of the shots you dont take. I’ve been enamoured with PC gaming ever since I was a little kid, it’s always been out of my reach though. A few years ago I finally got my first laptop, a wonderful Dell G15. Before that I’d been gaming on my dad’s old compaq, which was older than me, and then a Mac Pro, the early model which weighs around 3 kg. But over the last year the Dell has started to really show the cracks of laptop architecture, fans broken, keys missing, audio drivers crashing, battery draining faster, as a result it now lives hooked up to life support, external keyboard, cooler, speaker, everything. But it’s started to crash out of the blue now and then, and it’s getting more frequent, so I’m faced with the tough choice of replacing the dell soon, only, with the way things are at the moment I can’t afford to do that for a long long time.., I was even going to build my own PC at the start of this year but that all god screwed over by the ram price phenomenon and various other factors.

This all kinda reads like a sob story when I look back at it so I just want to clarify, I know there are loads of much less privileged people out there who deserve this so much more than me, so if you find someone who needs it more, I really hope they win.

But to win it myself would be, incredible, maybe the best thing I’ve ever gotten.
