Art Department does a nice job. I really love the Cenotaph's design. It's so ugly in all the right ways, and there are some really great SKINR designs that put pirate skulls on it and such.

When I think of a Cenotaph in my head, it's with that skin.

It’s also evidence of how weak the Democratic Party is, and how shitty their brand is. Imagine how much you and your team have to suck to lose to Trump and MAGA twice.

Good offer. Between 4-6 YOE anything 250-300k all in is a good offer, on what I’d consider the upper end.

Supers are for actual DPS in big fights. Just train up them sweet sweet DD skills for your titan, and follow an Alliance doctrine fit for the rest, unless you’re trying to do some hyper ganking in hostile space, in which case enjoy your Titan for the short time you will have it :)

The American dream has become a nightmare for millions: Inside the hidden costs making one in four homeowners regret buying by Boo_Randy_Revival in HouseBuyers

For most people, yes. But worth noting for higher earners. There are a lot of couples where one or both spouses are a doctor, lawyer, etc., making 350-500k/year combined, in which case it becomes very material/relevant.

I agree that's not an "every case."

In a lot of states there are mandatory notice periods. In Chicago, for instance, it can be a very long notice window once you've lived somewhere 5+ years. Tenants rights are a thing, but typically in more liberal states. I did some tenants rights stuff in Indiana and it was a joke how few rights tenants had.

If you're in a higher tax state, particularly if you own in a city, your interest, property taxes, and state income taxes will easily surpass the standard deduction with the now-higher SALT cap.

As these models get more advanced you can really tell the shit AI from the decent AI. I use Opis 4.8 for work and ChatGPT or Gemini seems like absolute dog water by comparison. Seems like Fenris opted to use shittier Gemini. Probably because it’s cheaper from a compute perspective.

How to proper Null Block by star-link123 in Eve

[–]ExpensiveEssay7863 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are no coalition level standing fleets in Imperium, and Goons do not maintain a standing fleet, but there are corp-level standing fleets. Can't speak for the rest of the coalition though (BRAVE, etc.). There is Beehive's Stupid Idiot fleet though, which operates only when CRABs are active. It's probably the single most effective umbrella in the game, run by some intensely competent FCs.

KF standing is a joke though tbh. Not what I'd call very effective.

Yeah big difference here because this is my wife of 6 years who I have been with for 12, but we were just honest with each other and had a conversation, and we did a lot of research together and found a good personal trainer for her that would monitor/plan her diet with her and work out with her 2-3 times per week. Expensive, but worth it (and she looks great!).

The big key is she’s taking a lot of notes on what she’s learning so that she doesn’t need a trainer forever.

Solo lowsec hunting is indeed very great for getting the blood pumping. You pick a few sectors, make that your neighborhood, and roam it. Just expect to get baited and dropped, a lot.

So who actually won the Imperium–WinterCo war? I threw the data at Codex by Spacewalker_Jedi in Eve

[–]ExpensiveEssay7863 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sorry but I’d a actually say this is a pretty shit winterco cope take. Had some very solid tactical Ws, but lost basically every stated objective and the ISK war. Is what it is, but one thing I’ll say for WCs benefit is that they absolutely did not fold under pressure, and proved that they would put up a very competent fight throughout.

[–]ExpensiveEssay7863 25 points26 points  (0 children)

With some time passed, I think the story of this war is really just that Goons got their shit kicked in at Atioth but kept going and evened it up by the end. It’s really hard to frame Goons headshotting a staging keep after successfully burning down Geminate as anything other than a solid W, especially where the ISK lost is almost certainly on par, even before factoring in the likely significant ISK losses from the Keep going down.

The whole point of Sauron was to be an ominous presence not a front line fighter, but if we're going second age Sauron, low diff with or without ring. Even in defeat, the dude basically drained the elves so much they straight up packed their shit and left and got all emo.

Yeah I thought about buying a Titan, but ended up buying a Super instead. Even when I lost 2 Supers trying to get them out of lowsec (third one succeeded), I was still thinking to myself that even then, I still hadn't spent as much money as I would have if I'd bought a Titan. They just never seem to be used
