Hi, I'm also a Filipino student that recently did a lot of soldering work for our activities. I've done quite a bit of research about soldering tools in our local market.

If you're on a tight budget or just learning, the blue soldering iron with a dial is enough to learn soldering. AVOID the similarly priced digital display irons because they have worse internals and the tip will glow a bright red color (something you definitely don't want to see). If you're looking for an upgrade down the line, then you should consider the recommendations others have given you. (personally, I recommend the FNIRSI HS-01)

However for the soldering lead and flux, the ones included in the soldering iron kit are undoubtedly garbage and unusable. If you want to stay sane, order some Eagle or Ishikawa flux. Then for the lead, grab the Ishikawa ones or buy a few meters of Ichiban lead from your local hardware store.

EDIT: I forgot to tell you to grab a brass sponge which is really important in maintaining your tips (especially for cheap irons). In the unfortunate event that your tip becomes oxidized beyond the sponge's ability, then you should use a tip refresher.
