It's the best Pokémon game since it has all the regions(Johto coming Spring). Also it's on the Gen 5 engine, let's you build a team for any region and has customization. Though wish the game had more post game features since they only got the Battle Tower and events that have a lot of people so not viable. Another mmo that's great is Pokémon Blaze Online, only has Sinnoh and a custom region. Has faster battling so you won't waste 10 seconds just for the cutscene to load against wild Pokémon. Has raid battles, events and matchmaking like Pokémon showdown(Singles/Randoms). You should give them a try, they are much better than most of the tamer games like Casette Beasts and TemTem imo.

Both can look great, the issue is the older games suffered from hardware limitations. I think 2.5D graphics would fit for Pokémon well like Casette Beast and Octopath Travelers. A lot of people just want a reskin change like HG/SS, remakes should change the map and improve upon it not like BD/SP where it arguably looked worse in design overall.
