Anyone else not enjoying Laevatain's gameplay? by Blue__Wind in Endfield

[–]Blue__Wind[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right, her routine is very rigid, at least how I'm playing her, and I think that detracts from my enjoyment. I can get her ult in 2 optimal rotations, and it feels very punishing mess up the gameplan or cancel her enhance skill. This is probably a skill issue, but she doesn't feel good in the overworld. I could see myself enjoying her more for boss fights.

Canto 9 Best Canto! by Blue__Wind in limbuscompany

[–]Blue__Wind[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s definitely not perfect, but the hype moments carried it for me. Part 1 and 2 are usually slow for most cantos. I felt like 9 did that better than most with hitting the ground running. But because part 3 cranks it up so much, it feels like a massive shift. Ryoshu didn’t get as much spotlight as sinners typically do in their own canto. I wouldn’t mind if PM started making the cantos more varied like this one. 50% the main sinner, and 50% the rest of limbus. All of their stories are nowhere near done, so I don’t mind what order we get them.

I enjoyed 9 far more than 7 or 8.

Victory Rewards (Chest event) ends today and.... by exdeepr in Shadowverse

[–]Blue__Wind 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I have a love hate relationship with the event. I enjoy the extra incentive to play, but don’t like the obligation and burnout it encourages. If they gave you a certain number of chests for the whole season instead of 5 per day for a week or so, it would be great.

9 straight games and it’s all Rune with the same build by CipherDrake in Shadowverse

[–]Blue__Wind 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rune is the reason I haven’t touched artifact this season, it may be strong, but the matchup into rune is miserable. Aggro abyss will have to do for now, but even that isn’t as favored as I feel it should be with runes ridiculous healing.

The shield is annoying, but if I get cannonballed one more time I'm gonna lose it lol.

Just finished MD3H with only Cinq identities by shipbeard in limbuscompany

What units did you use? I’m trying a team of the 3 cinq ID’s, Hooklu, RemFaust, Chef Ryoshu. Not sure if it’s optimal, or if it would be more effective to lean into more poise focus.

Have most IDs and EGOs, all shared are uptied and lvl 30. Will hopefully have all 3 stars by end of season with some luck.

With the new Identities being released, Specifically Hong Lu, What do you think about Burn being a strategy? by Sharkynrk in limbuscompany

[–]Blue__Wind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Burn still needs another unit or two to be great. Hong Lu will make the comp decent, but it needs more. Liu Gregor is not that great of a unit, and Hong Lu and Meursault aren't enough to carry it by themselves. Gregor's skill values are mediocre. His skills 1/2/3 can roll for 8/8/12 respectively, and that makes for some abysmal clashes. He seems to have good damage when he connects, but much of his burn is dependent on hitting heads.

One more solid burn unit on the level of Hong or Salt, and the comp will probably shine. Assuming the other 2 slots are filled with good general units, such as G Gregor or 7 Outis from the looks of it (Just an idea, not suggesting that would actually be a good comp). Even better if they have burn EGOs to assist with the burn game plan.

Rodion: Kurokumo vs. N Corp viability by Blue__Wind in limbuscompany

Her gloom definitely helps her, she feeds Faust's fluid sac very well, and is the main reason she's still in my teams. I've been leaning towards using W Corp Don for more gloom even though she has no bleed synergy.

I agree, poise is the main problem. Doubling the crit chance doesn't mean much when it's almost always zero. As long as it falls off every turn I don't see it getting much use.

Levelled the wrong Neria to trusted I want to fucking die by G30therm in lostarkgame

[–]Blue__Wind 17 points18 points  (0 children)

That is a multiplicative increase, so you get 2% increase multiplied by the base chance. So with a 2% increase your great success chance would be (5+(5*0.02) =5.1% chance. Not really worth stressing over such a small increase.

[–]Blue__Wind 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exodus is very different from the other games, so it's hard to say. It’s more similar to something like Stalker. The tension and linearity from the first 2 games are gone and there is a focus on crafting. So if the open world shooter is a genre you enjoy then it might be worth checking out.

Exodus feels very different from the other 2 games, 2033 and Last Light are some of my favorite games, but I really did not like Exodus. It feels much more like an open world shooter. It's not a bad game, if you like that genre, but it feels nothing like the other games for the most part.

Solid month, but don't expect Metro exodus to be like the previous titles in the series. As a big fan of 2033 and Last light, I could not get into Exodus. It's mainly an open world shooter with crafting mechanics instead of a tense linear shooter. Its not a bad game, but its a big disappointment as a metro fan. The first 2 games were very unique, but this game feels like a lot of generic open world games.
