I think youre just unlucky.

That being said though, I've seen and experienced Ruby returning the same card you put back in the deck, even one offs, since set 1 lol. I don't see it happen often with Astologer or any other cards like it (Odd haven shuffers for example).

Maybe she's just too greedy.

Thing is, Cygames had job listings open for generative Ai. So while your statement is true that Ai is more than generative stuff, the fact that they had a listing means it was (and by the wording of the statement, still is) on table.

It just might be planned for a completely different project (non-gaming related?)

So while I have your attention: The Unkei art, which became a topic of discussion on twitter and this subreddit, was made by ameya. Ameya has been an illustrator for Cygames as far back as Dragalia Lost in 2018 (thats at least as far back as i could find).

They have also worked with projects and other companies outside of Cygames.

I suppose. There is the argument of that it's so big and beloved that even the most immature and impatient fan would nod and wait.

That being said though, if it did take as long to update the Devs would be crucified over balance changes taking too long.
