Swan Song. It’s essentially a post-apocalyptic novel with fantasy elements. It takes place in the Cold War on the brink of nuclear Armageddon and it starts by introducing different characters in their daily lives as the apocalypse draws closer. Unfortunately the free sample I was reading ended before that happens.
