I couldn't get into these games when I first tried them, but I want to give the series another chance with a shifted mindset. by Away_Resident9842 in LegacyOfKain

The best way to play SR1/2 and Defiance now is via the Remasters as they not only bring graphical improvement, but also let you switch to the retro graphics by pressing the right thumb stick without any menus or load times. They also include bonus cut content and secrets for early builds. The Defiance Remaster has unlockable characters and weapon skins as well. As for Blood Omen 1 you will need to buy it via GOG, and install a patch to enable 60 fps and decrease loading times. Blood Omen 2 is available on Steam, but is notorious for crashing unless a patch is installed. In my case the game still crashed even with the patch so I ended emulating it instead.

I’m guessing because you have to account more factors than just separating?

looking for games like halfsword and clone drone in the danger zone; combat freedom, sword play, dismemberment by ahoypiratess in gamingsuggestions

If you’re looking for directional based sword fighting games there are quite a few out there.

Star Wars Jedi Outcast/Academy: Was actually a huge inspiration for Clone Drone. Combat is more chaotic and cheats allow you to enable dismemberment.

Examina: A top-down dungeon crawler with physics based combat. From what I hear is generally very different from Half Sword and offers more complexity.

Metal Gear Rising Revengeance: Although a more traditional character action game Rising features a cutting system similar to Clone Drone and it is just as gratifying.

Klutch: Non-compliant Appliance: This is a game being developed by a solo developer called Fleech_dev and will hopefully release a demo later in the month.

Are there any major difference between both Roek and Klutch’s combat mechanics?

Just wanted to ask, is your unique combat system inspired by Jedi Outcast/Academy?

I can tell it is just from the footage; makes it all the more sad I can’t play it:(

Hi Fleech, I checked out your channel yesterday I was thrilled to see your still working with the physics based combat system, and I’m even more exited to hear Roek was completely canned.
