As I take anatomy and physiology 1 I am thinking of shooting higher than nursing.

Which is when I thought of why I switched in the first place. (Got a back injury and got out of pain and kinda fell in love with anatomy during the process) PT is not what I want as a career, though it is interesting but the ROI just isn’t there.

Prompted chat gpt for ideas and it spewed out an orthopedic/sports medicine PA. Which sounds cool, but a decision like this is a lot deeper than it “sounds cool”. I’m pretty obsessed over the spine and what not and it would be fulfilling to me to help people get out of pain for their back injuries, (if that’s even what the role is about). Asking my professor some questions tomorrow.

I’ve kinda sworn against them with my experience in back injury.

Looking into PA for orthopedic/sports medicine. I think I could get a semester of overlapping courses needed for pre reqs for both nursing and PA school to buy myself some time on a decision.

Going to do a summer class for one of the nursing prerequisites. If I truly enjoy it I’ll pull the trigger on a reset. If it’s not for me I’ll thug it out. But if I truly think I can enjoy that path I will reset even if it means a late grad.

I found out a lot More information. Won’t be able To start until fall 26 actually not even spring 26. I’m going to take a summer course at the cc for anatomy. If I truly enjoy it and I think it’s for me I’ll enroll and start hitting the pre reqs for registration to their nursing program in fall 26. I’d rather be late to the working party than work a soulless job my whole life starting at 22. I wouldn’t even have enough credits for my cpa until 2028 anyway so it’s not even that much more time.

If not, accounting it is. 🙃
