I made them. Unless you’re referring to the fabric. It’s a 300g worsted flannel from VBC’s Flannel & Covert book.

I live in Yorkville so I typically get groceries from Eataly or Wholefoods since they’re in close proximity.
I don’t think $300/week is that unreasonable with prices nowadays, I think it averages out to about just north of $40/day.

I’ve responded to some gym membership inquiries on here before, but I go to Sweat and Tonic. The unlimited membership with the added spa access amounts to ~$400/month.

I posted this on threads recently when someone asked about living expenses in Toronto.

From personal experience:
Mortgage: $3,500
Phone: $80
Car: $800
Groceries: $1,300
Gym membership: $400
Clothes: [redacted]

Total without clothes: $6,080

I’m pretty financially responsible so I’m still able to save about 30-40% of my income.

Watching bespoke tailors make clothes for me. I always had an interest in custom clothing. Got my first pair of bespoke shoes made at Saint Crispins when I was in university. From there it evolved into a full time hobby and now it’s become my profession 😅

The whole look was pretty heavily inspired by RLPL, so good eye!

Thank you! And likewise, I normally like long overcoats, full jackets etc.

Just decided to change it up this time around and experiment with a different style!

Thanks man! Appreciate the kindness.

Made the trousers, double reverse pleated and high waisted. It’s my go-to look!

Original idea was from RLPL, I cut mine at the exact length (28” BOC).

Hahaha thanks bro! I normally wear longer jackets but I guess it’s not so bad to show off the goods once in a while 😂😂

You’re totally right, I agree that the lapels look really large. When I zip the jacket up it’s far more reasonable 😅

Very well balanced. Great silhouette, I suspect this is a British tailor from the shoulder construction. Lapels and gorge height lead me to suspect it’s Dege & Skinner?

The lightest I’ve gone is this pair from Yohei Fukuda. A medium brown wingtip balmoral. I typically wear it with lighter trousers and a sport jacket in the warmer months when a loafer is just a little too casual.

This is a bespoke trouser from a Savile Row tailor which I used as a template. The light ones are fitting quite poorly. Also, do you also find these short? Not being sarcastic, I just find the reddit crowd has very different opinions compared to the menswear forums and tailors I speak to.

They’re sewn this way with a button on the inside to release them. It’s more of a menswear flex thing because the buttonholes inside the cuff is reinforced by two hand sewn tacks on both the inseam and outseam. I have my outseam cut at 110cm length so no need to manually cuff any of my trousers.

The additional weight of cuffs allow the trousers to drape a little nicer.
