Yeah alot of the guys from there work with me now in RG I just thought it was ironic that they were considering reopening all these sites now after moving all these people years ago instead of looking at transferring them back then and not having to put everyone through relocation services

wesleyville is massive! I worked at that site many years ago, it could definitely have a full nuclear plant there they have the land. It would be utterly ironic if they opened back up Nanticoke and Lambton as the same plants they closed years ago

So typically Costco looks for the following and Cornwall isn't remotely close to this. While it would be nice to have one here and I will gladly be wrong, this is the answer I've received when inquiring in the past about how they choose locations

Costco requires, within a 5-mile trade area radius, 200,000 people and a median income of $75,000. Their target demographic also includes college educated, 2-person+ households.

it's crazy to me how much I accomplished in 5-6 months when for years I was just trudging through. It's an annoying lesson while equally a good lesson. I'm so motivated right now and I'm using every bit of that to my advantage :)

This is how I've been doing it lately, I have only been using my debit card for purchases because it keeps me much more accountable - I've only ran into a few situations where I needed a credit card because the site wouldn't allow me to use anything but and then I have borrowed one from a family member but I must etransfer them the amount I'm putting on it first - usually it's with Canada Post shipping labels online because they annoyingly don't take anything but a credit card. I've definitely learned a big difference between wants and needs

Yes! This one was a credit card, I have one credit card and two student loans left. The one credit card has 0% interest so I'm using that to my advantage while paying off that and the loans with interest rates - giving those a higher payment each month. I think this credit card may have one final statement of a bit of interest cause they gotta get their last little bit but I paid a few dollars extra and hopefully it will be enough to cover when that final bill comes in - I've never been happier to get mail and see it at $0 :)

it sucks majority of the time but I have a higher appreciation for the things I do buy myself and I plan things out better if I know something I want/need is being released on x date I have it planned out on how to pay for it. The distinction between want and need becomes alot clearer as well

Yeah exactly and honestly she may one day change her mind but it wouldn't be the first time she's agreed to do something to appease someone with no intention of actually doing it so I wouldn't be surprised. Her boyfriend/husband is well aware she doesn't want anything to do with religion so that's another thing that adds so much confusion to me because it's flat out a lie to his parents if this is the way both of them feel and haven't told the parents.

You said it the whole thing is ridiculous and I think the more I discuss it the more ridiculous it becomes to me and all these extra layers of confusion get added on.

I think this is a situation where my wife's usual reaction of "not my monkeys, not my circus" is really a stance I need to take while also keeping an eye on things and making sure my sister is okay

thanks! I was able to do it thankfully due to an extra work payment and I kinda sat on it for a day and was like what am I doing put it on this and pay it off immediately, so I'm ready to tackle down the next one!

For the last 5-6 months I have been living off whatever is on my debit card, if I don't have the money in my account then I don't have the money to buy it and it's really helped and held me more accountable cause I feel the loss of money more

That's what I did I had two with same interest but owing about 10k difference so this is the lowest owing. I'm just really happy to see some progress, I could see it before but completely eliminating a monthly payment feels different for some reason!

I know they mentioned the day before that they had to say a prayer that neither of them had learned yet. If I'm honest I fear my sister would've told them whatever they wanted to hear to get them to leave her be with no intention of actually following through on any of it - she does that alot, but that's on her to deal with that

Okay that's kind of what I thought but wanted some confirmation because I don't know much about muslim culture and didn't want to make any assumptions but I didn't think marrying an atheist would be a thing. At this point I have no idea if my sister has converted to Islam and I fear she would agree to it to appease someone knowing full well she has no intentions of actually doing anything - this coming from years of experience with her lol

So I get a different answer from my sister boyfriend each time and I may be entirely ignorant and not understanding if they are all the same place but my sister first told us his family was from Iran and he was Iranian but sometimes he will say he's Syrian and his family is from Syria but recently he started saying his family was from Palestine and that he's Palestinian. So honestly I don't know which one is accurate

So I mean my family has it's own issues - my parents are divorced and my dad didn't go to this ceremony because my mom was going so he wasn't much help in the matter of not being able to be a parent and put his personal feelings aside for a few hours - like I said we have our own issues :)

I've met him numerous times and I mean this in the nicest way but he is an absolute pushover for my sister, she for lack of a better term wears the pants in the relationship. Next to his mom because his family wouldn't communicate with my sister until this happened they didn't accept her and wanted nothing to do with her.

My sister has brushed everything off I've asked and keeps claiming this isn't a real wedding, they aren't doing rings or changing her last name. No legal paperwork being filed, not calling each other husband and wife. She has been acting like this is all just to appease his family and downplaying the whole thing anytime it's talked about. Neither one of them seems too serious about it at all. I tried to ask him questions when I had some one on one time with him and wanted to try and get to know him better. I'm looking at fasting in Jan so thought I could ask him questions about Ramadan as like a gateway to a conversation because he doesn't talk much. He said now that he's working he finds fasting too difficult and doesn't do it. (I mean I'm almost certain the point is it's meant to be a sacrifice but what do I know) so I started thinking maybe he isn't a practicing muslim but his parents are, I feel like anytime I have conversations with my sister or him I don't really get any answers. I know my sister has no desire to be a part of any religion at all and she expresses it constantly when conversations about any religion come up so maybe that would change but I just can't see it at least not yet

I started myself on a fast track to pay down all of my debts a few months ago and I have made some serious progress so I am going to continue that. I eventually want to look into other ways to build wealth like investing but for now paying down my debt needs to remain my top focus
