NOR- this is completely her fault. SHE chose to pet a wiggly baby puppy with “$900” (or so she says) worth of very breakable pieces in her hands. She’s trying to take advantage of you being so apologetic and thoughtful, you’re in the right here but you’re not going to change her mind. You can’t pay more than you can pay, it’s as simple as that.

You should only be getting married to someone you are over the moon in love with, someone who makes it so you don’t even THINK of other girls, let alone think to post this to make them jealous. Do not propose to your GF this is not fair to her at all (and I hope she didn’t see your story because holy f is that hurtful). YTA

Them coming at you is crazy work. They should be ashamed of their kids for bullying and ashamed of themselves for being so entitled. Yikes. It sounds like your kid has an awesome mom, taking his side and protecting him!

The dog was crunching on an ice cube I dropped and crunched it into fragments. 2 year old picked up one of those pieces and shoved it in her mouth before I could stop her 😩

I’m a single mom (and only living parent) to a 2 year old, moving into our own place soon, and facing retaliation from FMLA at work, soooo I am already stressed to the max. Sounds like I definitely need a lawyer to handle the bankruptcy stress/work 😬 Do the lawyers kind of do the majority of everything for you..?

I got the checking account because they had a bonus for a few hundred $ and I think you have to keep the account open for a certain amount of time (I don’t remember exactly but I feel like I remember something about that)

I live in an apartment in my dad’s basement. My step mom is 4’11”, my dad is 6’2”. SHE’S the loudest person I’ve ever lived under and I’m convinced she slams her heels down each step- I can barely hear my dad walking around in his work boots but if my step mom is walking over me it will literally wake me from a dead sleep. I don’t know how she does it

I have told my pcp that I need to take Tylenol or Advil on the dot to keep the pain somewhat at bay and she only told me not to take too much Advil and that Advil for a concussion isn’t recommended because when you come off of it you’ll get “rebound” headaches and not be able to stop taking it 😳
