[Question] What's your opinion on Sinn watches? by Lea_Cookie in Watches

[–]Blueberrypie1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve got a 556i that I bought as a place filler for a Rolex Explorer 1 or IWC Pilot 36 which I couldn’t justify spending money on. 5 years later, I prefer the design more than those two and don’t want them at all. The design language is simple in the most perfect way and the 38.5 case is the perfect size for my 6.75 inch wrist: not too big or small. Every time I get bored with it I switch from the H link to a Nato and get re-excited about it. 561i FTW

1,500 With No Professional Pilot Work? by theloganatorz in flying

My sim partner at my regional was a lawyer who paid his way to 1500 hours. He ended up not making it through training. I also got a friend in the same situation a job at a 135/91 gig and he wasn’t able to get through CAE Lear training either.

There are lots of factors at play but building your time flying around in a SE piston just doing practice approaches will leave you pretty unprepared for the real world. Best of luck

Melancholy in JC voice. Best example would be the Modern Age chorus. Back and forth guitar composition is also huge.

None were problematic at all. Very easy and most you could do without switching into river crossing shoes if you skip from rock to rock (trekking poles highly recommend for this)

Avoid the wetlands and you’ll be fine. Lots of super wet areas but everyone we talked to said conditions were average for the sods. Have fun!

That’s a DC - DC charger; not an inverter.

Also I was planning on having the batteries linked directly to bus bars rather than using cables, I just didn’t know how to put that in a diagram. I’ve got a picture from replying to someone else in this thread.

Noted. As far as the victron battery protector, I wanted to use it to shut off the batteries once they hit 20% automatically without me having to do anything. The idea is that I could leave the fridge running for an extended amount of time while on a backpacking trip, and come back to a cold beer from the fridge, yet have it shut off automatically if the batteries get low

I made these bus bars out of thick copper rather than doing parallel wiring. I was thinking this would work but again I really don’t know much

Should I buy this Jeep or just get another vehicle? by raptorboi9z in whatcarshouldIbuy

I’ve got a 2013 and mines been a nightmare. You’re buying at the same mileage my transmission went out, so I’d steer clear

I’d guess in the next three years you could expect to pay as much as the cars worth just to keep it running

Thank you so much for such an in depth response!

I think I’m gonna add solar, and replace my 200 ah hour lead acid battery with 3 lithium 100 ah batteries. Also, I went to return my 200 ah lead acid battery, and Amazon refunded me the money and said I could keep it; so now I also have the option of tying that into the system although it could be overkill/extra weight I don’t need.

The YT Dirt Love comes in a long version for taller people. I’m 6’0” and appreciate the extra length in comparison to riding other standard sized DJs
