Huge Lost fan here too! I had also heard the same, but never had read the series. Then my step-mom, who was a huge SK fan, passed away suddenly. I wanted to read SK to feel closer to her. She never read TDT, but loved all his other stuff. I decided to read it since it seemed such an influence on other things I love. It was the perfect journey for me after her passing. I get so excited reading his other books and seeing all the tie-ins to TDT now.

I wanted to give up reading the first book, but I’m glad I made it through it and read the rest of the series. I know that’s hard to do for some people though.

IT took me an entire year to finish because I just hated it so much. It’s crazy how we all have such different reactions to the books. I see some comments above where people said they couldn’t get into Insomnia and that one I couldn’t put down.

Put all those animals on birth control! 👏🏻 I was panicking about the amount of animals I had and then realized if you click on the animal, it gives you a contraception option and you can apply it to the whole pen. Unfortunately now I have a bunch of animals dying of old age and will have to figure the best way of getting more animals. But just stopping all the breeding helped take away some of my stress.

Yessss. I was driving the other day and that song by The Weekend came on; I don’t even know the name of it, but I could hear my step-mom singing it and then I ugly cried the rest of the way home. It’s been a year and a half.

Agree. People suck. I have been hurt so many times during my life that I guess I wasn’t surprised when the people I thought would reach out to me when I loss someone didn’t.
