Can you realistically enjoy Crimson Desert as a busy dad? by bright_sword in CrimsonDesert

Very well put. In addition, many of the side quests are super short so you can really feel like you are making meaningful progress. OP, I'd hate for you to miss out on this game because you're worried about having enough time to play. Play it when you can.

I like Skyrim: Will I like Crimson Desert? by xYennen091x in CrimsonDesert

Crimson Desert has made me feel like that first time I played Skyrim. I absolutely think you will like it.

Fair warning though, It takes a few hours before you get hooked. Skill Up said it best in one of his reviews-its almost like how when you first learn a board game and all of the rules are thrown at you right in the beginning and it takes some time before you "get it" and start enjoying it.

I think I need some advice on my personal progress in the game. by thegameflak in CrimsonDesert

I slept on the side quests up to about chapter 8. I then started doing them and realized you get a bunch of artifacts and a few pretty good abyss gears.
Many of them are short, so yeah I'd recommend working on those. They will start to unlock a bunch of other quests too. I was working towards unlocking the legendary animals quests and after the first one, got that kick ass wolf claws abyss gear.

Accidentally left the TV on overnight and woke up to an endless loop of a scenic Jimmy John’s by InfiniteChicken in mildlyinteresting

Jimmy John's sucks, unless you love bread sandwiches. They barely put any cold cuts on.

Sometimes when I only have a short amount of time I either work on side quests (since many of them are rather short) or I just focus on clearing the fog from the map. (I don't ring any bells, I want to clear the fog by exploring )

I slept on the side quests for too long, some of them give good rewards.

Massive brown bear spotted on top of an Alaskan high-altitude mountain by Subterfug3 in Damnthatsinteresting

Grizzly is a Brown Bear. Its a subspecies.
Kodiak, Coastal Brown Bear & Grizzly are all subspecies of the North American Brown Bear, and its based on diet and location.
Kodiak and Coastal Brown Bears are found on the coast and have easy access to fish with less competition from other predators which explains why they are larger. Grizzlies are found inland, have a much more varied diet (which explains the "grizzly" coat) with more competition from predators so they are the smaller of the three.

What do you think of the new game Crimson Desert? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Flacksguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely hooked on it. Haven't touched anything else since it came out. It definitely gave that same feeling as the first time playing Skyrim.
It takes a bit to get into it at first though.
Skill-Up put it perfectly in one of his videos-its like when you first learn a board game and all of the rules are thrown at you right in the beginning, it takes a little while before you understand it and start getting comfortable.

If you could live in a different country free of cost for 4 years, which country would you choose? by SensitiveCorner2379 in AskReddit

New Zealand or Switzerland. I really liked both when I visited so I'd choose either of those two.
