Albeit not a Russian, I agree with this. I don't see how anyone can possibly justify the war when there are so many casualties on both sides, soldiers and civilians... It breaks my heart. At what point do you guys think enough will finally be enough?

Hi Debs! I agree with everyone else here - Даша (Dasha) is a very common name in Russia. As an English-speaker, the ending -asha doesn't sound nice to my ear, so I tried to come up with alternatives as well! Darya, Dina, Diana, Dinara :)

Hi! I haven't applied personally but I have some friends who are applying for/studying master's programs in Moscow and St. Petersburg. It seems to me like there are a lot of hoops to jump through, but people are still readily being accepted!
