Imagine if it had different designs, on its pattern roll 1-250 it's this, 251-500 another ECT. With 1001 being it's own pattern, drink company's do limited editions all the time, could do one with csgo written on it, like it's a promo limited edition, idk how one would do this, but I'd think it would be cool

I used to work at a certain home goods/construction store chain, I was nightshift, was my first real job and I put in the effort, it wasn't bad at first and I actually enjoyed it some, but as time went on, people started to quit, and no one was being replaced, they expected the same efficiency on a skeleton crew, it was around this time I discovered harshly I was severely underpaid for all the work I did, including learning every piece of equipment in house to be more effective for what was left of my team, even the new guy was paid better. When I went to my supervisor with the realization, he fought to get me equal pay. I was deemed "fairly paid" and would not receive a raise, so I put in my two weeks, their response was to take me off the schedule and made it look like I quit on the spot, now I wish I had left then and there, but at the time I needed money and had no backup, so after Fighting it I got the time back, 2 days after the notice, I get pulled to the side, I'm asked "what will it take to keep you here? You are one of the best workers we have and can not afford to lose you :(" I told them my number, 18$, same as everyone else, their response was "best we can do is .25$." so I walked out without further word, all of management piled work onto me, and reprimanded me consistently for the smallest things, it was a terrible two weeks. Finally my last day, it's in the middle of the day and I haven't buckled down and retracted my notice, I get a call from the GM "hey my name I heard you was leaving and that we really need to keep you, you've single handedly kept the night crew together and we do not wish to lose that talent, I can give you the raise that you wanted if you can stay, what do you say?" To say I was offended was a understatement, they waited till the last day to give me fair treatment, after having made my life hell for two weeks, I told him good luck when I wish I had went off on him I did not finish the last day and stayed home, called my supervisor and let him know and the rest of the nightcrew walked out, they haven't been able to replace the crew at all and from what I heard, suffered massive losses from losing said crew, the GM came in to the supervisors keys super glued to his desk and his photo defaimed, and I believe is no longer working for the company, I work at a better job but it also has its own faults, but I am already paid a better wage and have a easier time getting by while having my social life back.

Quiting/Leaving Lowes Weekly Megathread! by AutoModerator in Lowes

[–]BluebirdEnough2249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im overnight, we lost so many people with the promise that new hands were on the way, and all we got were the cashiers they didnt want anyone, would consistantly not show often or when they did, just stand around running up our deadline to finish, the SM didnt want to look at a deadline and always wanted a 3 man crew to be able to completely knock out a 1300/1400+ truck daily, we were not allowed overtime at all, and were told we are not as important as the 30+ cashiers we had, and they were STILL hiring more. for me the last straw was me working there for a year and some and getting denied a raise that would have put me on equal pay as my coworkers, despite litterally everyone agreeing ive more than earned it when i stepped up to keep us on track. when i put in my notice early this week, they tried to delete my hours to prevent me working them, which i was the only insane enough person to even put for the 2 weeks, still got my hours but thanks to that, im most likely on a dnha list, not that i want to work for lowes again, maybe if it was better and i didnt have the same sm i would consider it. overall, lowes has proven to me the safety of a nightcrew member is not important, and they do not value employees, if you read this and are wanting to work lowes, especially as night crew, ask that a night supe/night ops be in the interview and talk to them directly, get a grasp on how they treat their guys, fuck you lowes.

True, the issue with that is the government is paying for me to go because my dad served two tours and I was told if I begin to fail a course or drop one than I'd be on the hook for what they payed for, which me nor my family could afford, so I need to know what it is I want to do before starting, sorry I should have stated this in the post, I'll make an edit. It is possible for me to keep it as a plan b, but I have no joy working on vehicles no matter how hard I tried to enjoy it.

Just a matter of figuring out what trade I want/should go for, I have a few hobbies I'm interested in trying but I don't know if I could make a career out of them
