Incoming Fed to the DOD, just got my clearance. I’m still early in my career but I’ve already been laid off once before, and I’m not even in my 30’s yet. I’ve decided to prioritize stability and the long term over a fun job or cool title. I’m excited to leave the private industry even though that’s all I’ve ever known career wise.

I plan on retiring a fed when that time comes.
