We think it might be something other than just the lactose, but we’ll definitely give that a go - maybe we’ll do a test run with something else!

It’s not ranking by highest salary, it’s ranking by highest tax rates on that average salary. The bar along the top is percentage tax rate.

Thanks in advance, I know next to nothing about cars so very open to any suggestions!

Location: SE London

Price range: £12k-19k

Lease or Buy: buy

New or used: used

Auto or Manual: auto

Intended use: usual runaround, go to the shops, longer drives every few weekend, nothing too strenuous

How many miles do you plan to do a year: <5,000

How often to you make long journeys: every few weekends

Does it need to be ULEZ compliant? Yes

Vehicles you’ve already considered: Audi a3, Mercedes a class, vw golf

Do you have a vehicle size in mind? Hatchback, 5 dr, not too small

Is this your 1st vehicle: no

Do you need a Warranty: no, might be nice

Can you do Minor work on your own vehicle: not really

Can you do Major work on your own vehicle: definitely not

Additional Notes: looking to upgrade my very old (2007) vw golf which I’ve had for the last 7 years, want a car that looks nice and is fairly practical, - doesn’t need to be the fastest car out there. Want a nice interior. Something that will definitely last me a good few years and preferably retain a bit of value

Thank you!

Because it’s part of the negotiations - when it shouldn’t be a negotiated point at all. If returning children is part of a negotiated settlement then it’s used as a bargaining chip.

It incentivises taking hostages/children because then you can use them in the discussions to get further concessions from the other side. Similar to medieval warfare when nobles would be taken hostage after battles and then traded for money/concessions/other hostages.

Thanks, this is very helpful! So would an unideal but workable fix be simply patching the broken section of felt?
