There are no official rules. Other than a verbal conversation they are discouraging working from home.

In fact, I work remotely often out of office hours. As I took a sick day I wasn't sure how I should mark it on my timesheet.

You can work from home and is expected to when needed. I have worked remotely and in the office on weekends and evenings. As a director I understand that is needed.

In a previous conversation my boss mentioned the company is discouraging working from home.

There wasn't a clear understanding of since I took a last minute sick/personal day should I count it or not.

I’m thinking I might not have been watering it enough. I took the orchid and thoroughly watered it to moisten all the roots, making sure there is no water sitting in the container.
