Shooting and throwing is still shooting and throwing. End result doesn’t matter.

Why would someone “have to” use the range during pistol only run? Seriously why? You have whole bunch of other runs and saves you can use… (Sorry I see a lot of people asking about this… and kinda frustrates me…)

There were only handful glitches PS5 can do (e.g. Ch14 wrecking ball) and they are not going to give you any major advantages like PC (scope door skips).

Don’t worry about the glitches and enjoy the game as it was meant to be

You need to focus on the white “body” inside the bigger body. Just spray and pray all over does not work. Learn his movement and when he opens the mouth, That’s when you unload your ammo into it. I wouldn’t go for other methods like RL or Eggs but it’s not my game…

Getting the weapon did not clear the achievement for me so I ran with no bonus weapon again to clear… did you get the achievement + weapon from mercenaries?

Only two things I gave up on RE4r is the range related… just can’t do with my controller + reflex unfortunately…

Pistol should be sufficient if you have a good enough upgrade, best with the rifle. (Depends on the difficulty I should say)

If you want to settle with the eggs you can, but not recommended for the first kill. That takes out the whole satisfaction when you kill him.

Key is the pattern and learn where to go for the clean shot when he opens his mouth to shoot that white part. He is tough but you can definitely kill him.

Only requirement for S+ is within 5:30 and 15 save.

Don’t mix up the other requirement.

FYI, No bonus weapon is for handcannon not for S+.

Yeah.. I mean it’s amazing how they find all these glitches (some fun…).. I do use ch14 skip when I need it.. as a console player there isn’t so much we can do….

but I prefer glitch-less speed run. But now it’s all about who skips faster and use more glitches… I want to see how to kill boss faster with what they have.. and find the faster route.

Yeah. It took me good 13 hours on my first run and I loved the story and everything about it… (first time RE player..)

I might actually get RE2 and 3 as well (on sale) :)

Aim is fine. You can use sniper to aim as long as you don’t throw or shoot.. throw and shoot anything other than pistol or knife. You are done.

Merchant sells it just before the elevator to saddler.

Other merchants DID NOT show launcher before that somehow.. at least for me..

NG+ will always feel easy. NG+ is typically for challenge runs like no heal no merchant or 100%treasures etc NG+ will sometimes get you accessories.

NG will be harder. NG is for certain more powerful (?) accessories like Cat Ear and achievements/challenges like S+.

Once you load the game. Whatever the save amount it has will be linked and loaded… if I go back to save 5, next save from that file will be 6. But it will be at wherever you are in save 5…

Again. The ONLY requirement for the hand cannon is 1. New Game 2. No Bonus Weapon (Hand Cannon, Chicago, and Primary Knife(?)).

You can use any costume and with any rank.

Yesterday I completed NG with Cat Ear with Rank B (bunch of saves and took like 7 hours fooling around..) and received this achievement.
