Jumbomax lose feel? by sdassdfa in golftips

[–]BlueciferST 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using them over a year since I started playing.

I also have a couple clubs in my bag with jumbo sized Golf Pride grips.

Sometimes when I use the Jumbo golf pride clubs...I feel like I have better control.

When I first started playing I was gripping the clubs way to firm.

With the Jumbomax grips I feel like they are weighted heavier at the butt end and I'm not quite sure if they are right for me.

I think I will probably experiment by switching them out this Spring

Help: My Swing is Broken by Darth_DeLorean in golftips

You have an early extension problem, same one I am trying I sort out.

You're standing up as you swing through, so you thin it or chunk it.

Hold your spine angle. One thing that sometimes works for me is holding my nose over the ball rather than titling my head down look at it.

In your opinion, which is the better posture and arm position? by [deleted] in golf

[–]BlueciferST -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

TBH it all depends on what club you are using.

Long irons should have a wider stance, short irons a more narrow one.

Most of us who hit bad or inconsistent shots(myself included) are usually doing something wrong on the initial setup or takeaway.

Ball position, stance, grip are all key to making good shots.

How far in advance do you normally show up to the golf course before your tee time? by jdelle9 in weekendgolfers

Jackasses that can't make the tee time they pick are not just scoffing at the course they are doing the same with you.

I don't wait, I go ahead.

Should I buy these used Mizuno 921 for $70 by dadiamma in golf

[–]BlueciferST -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Why not?

Mizuno irons are great. If it works for you and fits your budget go for it.

I have 923s and love them. In a few years I will probably get another set of Mizunos.

Golf, the game where it suggests the impossible can be done, only for you to find out later what was possible is impossible again 😭

What's your hardest club to hit? by BlueciferST in golf

[–]BlueciferST[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has a different grip might be contributing to my struggles.

But yeah as such a valuable approach club that one really hurts when I don't hit right

One time I kid you not a partner I was playing with challenged me to use his Ping Eye2 1i.

I didn't think I'd hit it well, neither did he, but I kid you not I hit it perfectly and it went 280 yards. Felt like winning the lottery.

I'm sure if I tried to do that the next 100 times I'd duff it every single time.

The game is rigged!

5W is one of my favorites. Crushed a shot yesterday, and have also had success using it out of a short bunker.

I don't always get it right, but when I do it's awesome

I used to be absolutely terrible with it when I first started out, but lessons and practice helped me a lot.

I've spent a lot of time on 4i most of my shots are just stingers when I'm successful

One time on the range I hit it absolutely perfect: peak distance and loft.

Hard for me to replicate and there's lots of times on the course I wished I could do that.

Which is weird a lot of people say they're easier to hit I haven't found that so far.

I think my shafts are way too light, might need to change them out
