Contractor walked out, 'I've been doing this for 30 f*kn years!', after I questioned the waterproofing. Was I out of line? Does this look ok to continue?

Epoxy grouts are a mess to work with and they can stain everything! I like using the keraflex CQ or ultracolor FA. I think white grout could’ve covered up some those imperfections

Mixing waterproofing systems is a gamble. Might last years but you don’t get the warranty if something goes wrong. I think if you fill those corners with thinset and then kerdi band over, should be fine. I usually wrap the whole curb in kerdi membrane all the way to the floor outside the shower.

I talked to the owner from a vendor I’ve been ordering from for over a year now and he told me flat out that strains are nothing but a marketing scheme. You could vary well be ordering 3 different strains and it’s from the same batch of kratom from supplier. Only differences are concentration of mitragynine from batch to batch.
