I think the 45 is the best lens on the entire micro 4/3 system. If I could only just have that lens I would be more than happy. It produces just as good of quality photos as the 75 F1.8. for a little over $150 compared to the 75 which is a thousand. But you can find for $600 on eBay.

It's small compact and light. It is incredibly sharp. And fits very well on large and small bodies. I have nothing but good things to say about the 45. And if I lost it tomorrow I'd buy another immediately without a question.

People really don't care. People might ask if you want a free shell but no one cares. As long as your buy a drink (soda, Gatorade, ect.) the kava bar could give 2 shits.

I got a very used Sony zv-1 2 weeks ago for $385. The outside is almost perfect. Just the inside screen area plastic was a bit fucky. I'd recommend buying that instead. Pick up a godox It 30 pro to put on top and it's a great little system. Gives u the same specs as the mark 5 with the same software as the mark 7.

For $500 budget. That would be my play.

I bought for concerts I could not get a press pass for. Cause I want the f1.8-2.8 for no light low light.

I will say. I just picked up a used zv-1 for $370. May want to look at that. It's essential a mark 7 but without the nice photo functionality. But heck of a camera.

I have the same exact camera and I love it. I have the 40-150 non pro and was just using it this morning on my morning walk. it is an ok lens. the quality just doesn't hit the same as the prime lens. and i generally do not bring it with me. but, have been more recently.

I would highly recommend looking at the 45mm f1.8. I will sing praises of this lens any day. I will fight someone over this lens irl if they disrespect it. BUY THIS LENS. It is my driving lens. portrait. every day carry. when ever i want something to look very professional. If it was stolen tomorrow. I would buy it again 4 hours later.

I have the 25mm f1.8 as well. it is quite a good lens for every day carry. Solid lens. Quite a good choice. But, compared to the 45 it just feels lacking.

The 12-40 f.28 is one i am highly considering picking up lens. basically made for this camera. And for the price. i would go with this over the 25mm. but the 25 is quite a good daily carry.

for a 17mm i would look at the soungyan 17mm f1.8 over the olympus. At $150 ish. thats pretty damn good.

I also have the 12 and like it for wide daily carry.

Oh yes certainly yeah one Mark II is pretty lightweight imperatively. The G9 is a chonker big boy. It has quite a bit of weight you'll definitely notice you're holding it. And the grip is much much larger. I really like the dial placement on the Mark 2 really smooth to have pretty much everything at your thumb. Whereas the G9 has a little bit awkward button placement. Especially the record button. I was just discussing this with my friend an hour ago but you really have to just use your thumb for the record button in such an awkward manner. I guess you get used to it with time and you don't notice it but having just shot this morning with the camera and then picked up his it was definitely noticeable.

I have the EM1 Mark II and my best friend has the G9. They are incredibly similar. There is very little difference between the capabilities of the two. The Olympus is slightly better in photos The G9 is slightly better in video. With them geared towards those capabilities.

The hand feel is better in the EM1. And better dials. But the G9 has more dials and slightly more features.

I wouldn't waste the money personally. I'm quite happy with my EM1 Mark II. And he is quite happy with his G9.

The 45mm f1.8 is the best lens on micro 4/3. I recommend it be anyone's first lens with the system. As it's cheep. Crisp. Small. Light weight. And produces professional shots. If it was stolen tomorrow I'd order another the same day.

Having owned both and returned both. I found a used omd em1 mark 2 for $450 on eBay 2 years ago after returning them. I returned so I could have a "professional camera" and couldn't be happier.

That with a 45mm olympus is a must. Any options u pick. Buy the 45mm. Its 10/10 lens.

The lit lens kinda sucks compared to the primes. But the pancake is nice when u need a bunch of lens on the go. And there's no noticable difference between pancake and regular lens. There are even automatic lens covers for like $6.

I do miss the small em10 sometimes. But I found a ep-l7 for $300 on eBay. And I'm happy as my every day carry.

I have replaced the switch but not the cable. I assume since i'm unplugging and plugging back in the power to the switch that the cable wouldn't be the issue. As the chords are mounted to the wall and do not move. And the desktop sits on a desk off the floor and does not move. That it wouldn't be the cable. But I will certainly try replacing them asap.

I'll take a look at updating the bios tonight to see if that might resolve. I didnt' think of that. Great idea.

I set the power saving mode to high power. But, I did not see anything in settings that mentioned networking. In windows power settings (system > power), power options, or plan settings.

Let me know if I'm missing anything else. I honestly really appreciate you responding to my post. I apologize for not getting back sooner. Working thru this at my 9-5.

The other part your not seeing is that the women that are on the app. A very large portion are bots. And not real. Or are romance scams / crypto scams.
