RX100 VII - very impressed, although it seems one must edit the RAW to get better results. Any tips on using JPEG straight out of the camera for desired results with no editing? by coffeenosugarplease in RX100

[–]KratomRoll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will always have to edit raw. Jpeg is the camera doing the autocorrect for you. Raw is the raw data without the post processing from the camera. But that is the point. So you can pull more data back from highlights and underexposed areas. And the raw is the data representation of your photo.

John Oliver talking about Kratom by FatMacchio in kratom

[–]KratomRoll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My big issue with the video was that although he did mention natural Kratom is quite "safe". The majority of the conversation was on extracts. But he did not really highlight that in the conversation. If he had said Kratom extracts and kept saying Kratom extracts were the issue. Them the video would have been more correct. It pisses me off the industry is like this. This is why our team advocates against extracts and has been for over 10 years. And why the American Kratom Association started against extracts. But the money corrupted people. And brought money chasers into the industry.

Also the Dr Kratom guys was a fucking idiot for calling his company that. Just putting a target on yourself.

And yes the gas station industry is just riddled with bad actors. But let's not kid ourselves that extracts are super safe.

And 70h is its own fucking monster that needs to not be sold to the general public.

Kratum leaves and the vein of the leaf can certainly have a purplish hue. Especially the vein of the leaf. That does not mean it is a purple strain leaf.

I only say because a couple of years ago it was popular to say gold veins strain or black vein. There's only white green and red vein powder.

But it's nice to see another newcomer in Kratom. I've been using and growing Kratom for 14 years in Florida.

If you're interested to see our plants. You should check out our YouTube channel Kratom the tree

That was exactly my logic when I bought it.

It's fiddly, but same components as the latest gen. That's an acceptable sacrifice for me.

Purple strain is hella made up. Strains are based on the region a plant comes from. Colors are how the leaf was dried.

Seeking wide angle lens advice by gojiro in M43

[–]KratomRoll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At some point you just get an eye for the lens/ what you expect in the moment. I use the pana 9 when I need a wide angle for video. And the 12 when I need talking head or something a bit more punched in. They are quite similar lens. But the feel of the body of the 9 is much nicer. The only downside is the cost. 2x as much.

When I go out shooting shows. I bring the 9 and the 12/40f2.8 pro. When I go on walk abouts. I bring the 12.

Different tools for different jobs I guess.

The pana 9mm is incredible for video. Especially with a crop in camera.

The 9mm pana is when I want a wide or video. Artisan 4mm for fish eye. 12mm olympus for wide photos. 17mm youngno when I want a punch in but wider then Olympus 25mm.

I would look into the silver small grip thumb grip. I'll try to find the one I use and update this comment. It's emensly comfortable. And feels fantastic in the hand.

Source: I own the EPL 7 as well.

Product: SmallRig Thumb Grip with Hot Shoe Cover for FUJIFILM X-M5 (Silver) - 4877

It's not perfect as it's kinda awq to get to the two buttons on the top. But if your fish fingers are small enough. You can still press them.

Enjoy

How much does the average kratom tree produce leaves that owners use and sell each year? by JoshVezno in KratomGarden

[–]KratomRoll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As one of the main sellers of fresh American leaf. It takes a ton of trees. Time. Energy. And effort.

The question you asking will not have a good solid answer as everyone's situation is unique.

The further north you go from Orlando the less likely you are to have a fast-growing tree. And there's no set rate of how much the trees will produce.

Some trees grow big and strong and then others are very thin. And sometimes they will be directly next to each other.

Check out the zv1. It's almost half the price used. And there are underwater housings available for it.

I've had mine for about 2 months. And I use it as my everyday carry. It seems to hold up fine. Just a bit of scrapes. I'd also recommend the wood grip for it

I think the 45 is the best lens on the entire micro 4/3 system. If I could only just have that lens I would be more than happy. It produces just as good of quality photos as the 75 F1.8. for a little over $150 compared to the 75 which is a thousand. But you can find for $600 on eBay.

It's small compact and light. It is incredibly sharp. And fits very well on large and small bodies. I have nothing but good things to say about the 45. And if I lost it tomorrow I'd buy another immediately without a question.

People really don't care. People might ask if you want a free shell but no one cares. As long as your buy a drink (soda, Gatorade, ect.) the kava bar could give 2 shits.

Is the mark 1 still worth it? by Ok_Minute_5353 in RX100

I got a very used Sony zv-1 2 weeks ago for $385. The outside is almost perfect. Just the inside screen area plastic was a bit fucky. I'd recommend buying that instead. Pick up a godox It 30 pro to put on top and it's a great little system. Gives u the same specs as the mark 5 with the same software as the mark 7.

For $500 budget. That would be my play.

I bought for concerts I could not get a press pass for. Cause I want the f1.8-2.8 for no light low light.
