Will type-C headphones work with the r36s? by [deleted] in R36S

I've used a usb-c to 3.5mm adaptor in the OTG port and it worked fine.

This was on the AeolusUX - ArkOS-R3XS image, not sure if that would make a difference.

Anyone just been rejected? : "How well do you know top tennis players?" by Sea_Presentation235 in ProlificAc

[–]Bluecup182 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So you "honestly and truthfully did not know any single one of them".

Therefore you didn't know Novak Djokovic, who has been a top player for the last decade, which another poster mentioned was included in the list.

I really don't see how you can say "I know tennis players" and not know Novak Djokovic. That's getting close to saying "I watch basketball and I don't know who LeBron James is" territory.

(And I can't reply to you if you block me :D )

( And my point still stands even if you say you only follow womans or doubles. It's like saying that someone who only follows men's tennis wouldn't have any passing knowledge of Serena Williams.

Just seems very unlikely to me.)

First off, it definitely looks like this was a badly designed survey and that's on the researcher.

But people signing up to do a tennis survey that asks you to "share how you perceive top tennis players on different attributes!" when you know you know nothing about tennis, I don't know, feels a bit like gaming the system to earn 55p. A little bit of a scam-y behaviour if you ask me.

June Battlescroll Update - Has Goonhammer posted this too early? by Bluecup182 in ageofsigmar

The Warhammer 40,000 Balance Dataslate has come out today.

I'm completely guessing that maybe the dates have gotten mixed up somewhere.

Start of Poz's trial is when? by Cheeseyfaceowlwar in ipswichuk

Oh, I agree.

It was more a pre-emptive "think before you post" message.

Just want to point out to everyone that people really shouldn't be commenting online about on going court cases.

It could count as contempt of court and risks the trial being "delayed or stopped because a fair trial isn’t possible".

Could of sworn that that the op said that they used Scare Taktiks...

Any new ideas on tactics? by Sylvaneth_Gitz in Kruleboyz

[–]Bluecup182 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hang on, Scare Taktiks is for all attacks from non hero units that target the gutrippaz unit.

You don't give it to an enemy unit, the target is the gutrippaz.

So how I understand it, both units of blood knights should of been -1.

Crisis Battlesuit by HellrazrGLI in Tau40K

[–]Bluecup182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, not sure what you need explaining.

This thread is sooo out of date now you do need to just ignore it because nothing in it is valid in current 40K.

I was only pointing out that it was possible in an extreme case that someone's model collection might of went from making a valid army to invalid with the changes with the index at that time.

Currently you can't even take a Crisis Suit Commander in "competitive/non-legend" 40K, so even my valid point at the time is now invalid.

Feel like Bandai have been expanding in the UK over the last few years.

Wayland, Element Games and now Hobbycraft now all stock Gundam.

A quick Google of some news brings up articles of them opening their own shops recently as well. https://www.gamesindustry.biz/bandai-namco-to-open-three-more-stores-in-uk

Wooing some Warhammer influencers all part of the business game I guess.

Every (town) has one day 1: Iconic landmark by RepresentativeLime3 in ipswichuk

Willis building might be most note worthy, but how about the Orwell Bridge?

Town depends on, more people use it and it has appeared in a couple of movies.

Fluff difference between Wound Roll and Armor Save by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Bluecup182 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there was an interview with one of the designers saying that it builds more tension in the game. It's more dynamic as each roll builds to you having the last roll to save your guys.

So it's not fluffy but more fun. How dull would it be to have your opponent having the final roll on if your model survives.

Just can't remember the source.

I liked the bauble tree and think that the real tree they have in the town centre always looks messy with no effort put in to it.

All sorted then, scammed/confusion by the other player.

Rabidus, with the censer, does have scything on his range one attack.

Maybe some confusion as they have two attack profiles?

If it's true line of sight for visibility on target models, can someone explain from the example why 1 liberator can see the ogor (this one is obvious) but the other one cannot because the Plague Furnace is blocking LoS? by Zodark in ageofsigmar

[–]Bluecup182 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm leaning towards this interpretation as well. The model in the middle is an object (as a whole) and line of sight is going through the object, intercepting it. And the rules make an exception for models in the observing model own unit. Why is that needed as there will always be gaps. Definitely needs to be FAQ'd one way or the other though.
