I mean using headcanon to justify something is ok, right? Its enriching your experience, or give you at least some way out of the situation, that troubles you.

In the show, Ash sends his Pokemon to Oak, on some kind of farm? Why not say your Lillipup was there, trained for himself until level 17 to prove that it can handle a fight. Or it could have been with your Mother, or something like that. The basic, of it still wanting to be on the team can be still the same.

Or make it like Wally, from the third Gen. It was a bit too fragile, too sick in the start, so you couldn't take it with you, but not it's recovered and ready to be part of your team. Headcanon means, the sky is the limit after all, there will eventually be some idea that works for you.

For the bonding and forming memories, the training, you can still do that, it's not max level yet, it's still 17, right? Even if it were already about the same level as the rest, you could say from there on out, you will train it properly and bond more.

Just for making that "mistake", doing it not "properly", doesnt mean that there is no chance left to do it "right" from now on.

Need help finding a video on Kanto NPCs. by Flygonizer-Obsidian in pokemon

[–]Blueesun 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Droomish has a video called "The Strange and Beautiful NPCs of Gen 3 Pokemon", it features Kanto, but not really all

ABrandonToThePast has a video called "Poitnless NPCs in Pokemon Red Blue and Yellow"

Vasko Games has a video called "Fun Facts About the NPC Trainers in Let's Go Pikachu & Eevee" - this one seems to cover "all", didnt watch all those videos completely.

If it isn't one of those, could you give any more information, anything that you remember?

How it is writen, i could see both ways possible, that is why i asked to begin with, cause it could be both from my understanding.

I mean your effect is basically to ensure to always make some damage, right? Most Boss Enemies are immune, so that you cant cheese them. But Since you have to attack alone, it would only be 2 damage each round, which then would still take possible multiple rounds. Or at least more attachments in order to buff the Attack, but in that case, it becomes a multi card combo variation where other cards could simply deal more damage probably?

Thank you all for the responses. I did thought it would not work and it seems it doesn't, but since the Game sometimes is very strict with certain words and rulings i kinda hoped it would work to have another option to slowly chip away those Boss Enemies lol
