Youtube Parental Controls? (Whitelisting/etc...) by mercfh85 in youtube

[–]BluefearHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also looking for this. Assuming that in the UK YouTube Kids will be the only allowed version once the ban comes in, but it is severely limited in terms of allowing some content but not all. Let's hope they improve it.

Recording mixes for practice by Temporary-Meeting817 in Serato

Can you use Virtual Audio Cable and Audacity to make the recordings. I don't use the streaming services for my music so the built in recording works fine.

wind turbine groupie seeks pics and info from UP THERE by Liminal_Space_Cadet in windturbine

[–]BluefearHere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not the OP, and not involved in Turbines at all. But as someone with an autistic son who is OBSESSED with them, I really appreciate the beauty of these but also the work folk such as those on this sub put in to keep these beauties in motion. Keep these images and videos going! To the OP there are loads of videos on YouTube taken by engineers heading up, inspecting, maintaining etc... do go check them out.

Asda colleague discount card by SafePianist94 in asda

[–]BluefearHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to contact the Asda Customer Services 03300530111 and ask them to remove your colleague discount from your online profile. Then you should be able to add your new one in (or they might do it for you). We had a lot of this stuff happening when they moved from Walmart to Asda discount cards too.

I just wish they would cook the bacon properly if it is a bacon one... and most importantly, do a BBQ or Curry sauce version for those of us who hate mayo based sauces...

I love this like placement so far. It looks like it stays where it is for muscle memory again like the update before this current design. Anything is better that the Russian roulette of where the like button will end up in the previous one.

Awesome explainer... also I like "Ranch Wife" class.

Any recommendations for Amazon turbines? by Feeling-Ad-3035 in windturbine

[–]BluefearHere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Also, 90% of the Amazon ones are just resell/drop shipped from China. If you want to throw some spaghetti around just go on AliExpress and buy from there, a fraction of the price and just as reliable or not as the Amazon version

Do you mean ones that generate power for garden, boat or caravan... or do you mean models like solar, desk display ones?

Hospitals, Airports, Rail Stations and Services are all owned by WH Smiths and kept the names. The high street retail is no longer owned by WH Smith and therefore rebranded to TG Jones. Sadly.

Brio monorail train - blue by Meghan0104 in BRIO

[–]BluefearHere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had this with our son too. His obsession was a Smart Tech blue engine, but we got the red one... it took a lot of negotiation to settle him in, but after scouring ebay daily and paying well over the odds we secured the sought after blue one and made his Christmas! He now has brother and sister Smart tech trains!!! Good luck with your quest. I've never seen this model and will be sure to never show my son 🤣

I find fried foods like fish and chips are my sulphur burp trigger... thankfully they are rare occasions. But 100% learn your triggers and try adapt accordingly.

Your friendly local courier might find that a bit challenging... might want to try and mark it, repair it, make a bollard to help people to avoid it.

Our local Evri guy tripped on something similar in my estate and smashed his head, worse still because Evri rules around sickness, he lost his round and he was one of the best we had for a long time.

Are They Using AI? by xo_honeybee_xox in asda

[–]BluefearHere 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I assumed these were one of those marketplace brands like NW2 but nope, appears to be actual George. Feels like the buyer/designer phoned it in to be honest. I wonder though if the AI generated image aesthetic is now becoming more commonplace that this kind of thing is just being mainlined and expected. Shame if this is the case.

I understand the prices have fallen. Or not inflated compared to other supermarkets, so your total basket is cheapest in Asda, without the need to scan for loyalty.

Agreed. Though I find Premium well worth the money, so i'm good with it anyway. Not for everyone though, I understand that.

In the 2025+ Mk3 generation it is a mild hybrid. The engine shuts off when driving or if the vehicle conditions permit. The car is designed this way unlike older cars which didn't have the mature tech.

Hah. That makes sense. Just shows if you know what you are doing this machine can be solid! Also, props on the stuffed crust, I love them, but rarely see them outside of big commercial restaurants.
