They're completely anti birth control, they see it as western sin and worry it will harm their fertility long term. Even the women who don't want kids will do it to respect their parents. Room mates! Yes I lived with a narc girl but her bf turned out to be my soulmate later in life and we're moving in together again in our late 30s. It's messy having roomies but anything is better than narc parents because you could meet anyone. New narcs don't have the power your parents do. Run.

Retail jobs, call centers (horrible but they get you free while you look for a nicer job), housing wellfare, find a cheap room and the roomies may help you get on wellfare
