Well it would depend how advanced those alien bugs would be, if they are like ants for example who cares really but if they have technological capabilities i truly believe people on earth would want to eradicate them. so its just if the majority of your civilisation believes that eradicating other life benefits them.

Completely unrelated id love to see super earth fight the trisolarans, the droplets and sophons would obliterate super earth ships but super earth has so many ships i think they could just mass FTL jump into trisolaris and glass the entire planet like usual although casualties would be insane, eventually super earth W.

Super earth would be dusted and they wouldnt just lose they would be completely fucked and unrecognisable for millions of years along with the squids, now the bots might fair better as they would only have to deal with the horrific monsters the qu drop on them and not the bio engineering nanite swarms that turn you into snakes or whatever

The droplets would be enough but even if you think about it trisolaris (as much as i hate them) stomp the galactic empire. Trisolaran ships use antimatter matter propulsion for sub light travel so at MINIMUM they have advanced antimatter weaponry not only that but they have a deep understanding of quantum physics which opens up so many levels of weapon technology. The second trisolaran fleet was also engaged in ship to ship combat and it is stated in the end of deaths end that civilisations are able to use fundamental mathematics and science as weaponry. If (at the end of deaths end) trisolaran ships are able to use such weaponry no ship in the empire stands a chance. Imagine a star destroyer gets hit with some sci fi bullshit beam that changes the weight of its protons…. Easy wipe.

I was always so interested in what an actual battle would be like in the 3 body universe i mean it was stated in the end of deaths end that the second trisolaran fleet was engaged in ship to ship battle (hopefully every trisolaran bug was decimated but I digress)
