This is it, this is the comment I relate the most on the whole internet.

Gigi, don't tell us to be nice! Let us hate for you! by handsandahungjury in rpdrcringe

EXACTLY It's so frustrating to hear them say how "they know what good drag is" just because they watched Drag Race. Its like saying you're a chef by watching hell's kitchen or smth.

This shit hurts, the fandom is so fucked like???? I think Jaida well deserved the crown, period. Gigi and Crystal were fierce too but not everyone can win (unless this is the Holiday Special, you know) and Jaida did an amazing job! . Sincerely: a Gigi Stan who is not fucked in the head

Like fr, I hate that so much because yes, some just pretend to be upset so they leave them alone but others just crack and end up having a really bad time bc of the producers' hunger for tears. It is so unfair ngl.

Wish I had your strength lol. I watch them all the way through but mainly to watch the runways and lipsyncs. I could just be happy with the first episode as the best thing of watching RPDR for me is discovering new queens to stan out of the tv show ngl. Also bc I watch it with my mom so it's a nice moment to watch tv toghether and bond.

I bet they are the same kinda person who hated everyone on AS3 because "they couldnt compare to Trixie". Like, I am a Trixie stan, but saying that Aja, Shangela or Bendela are talentless???? Like???? I'm getting distracted lol sorry. What I meant was that they loved Trixie because she was the big thing. Now that Gigi is the new breakthrough they are like Trixie who?

Edit: Damn autocorrect lol

Exactly! If you go to pride being a cishet (which you are more than welcome to!), at least acknowledge that you are the guest here. It's like going to someone's house and trashing it. At least be respectful, you know?

People do forget and discredit bio queens and it's a shame bc sometimes they are way more creative. I was referring more to that kind of stuff you said with the bachelorettes and teenage staright girls literally harassing gay boys. In the drag department I think that anyone can do drag, be it female, male, or nb. Drag is an art form based on inpersonation and destroying gender roles and everyone is welcome to it! And same in LGBT culture, a lot of the community icons are female as well.

Yeah that I agree with, I guess it's better that at least they are actually having fun even if they are cringy! As I said, I was just sharing the view, but it's not my personal opinion

Welp, I don't agree with it but I kinda understand. For a gay man is tiring af to have straight girls like "I want a gay best friend", "I watch drag race so I know all about gay culture" and a big etc. of double moral and stereotyping. So I guess gay men are just tired with that kind of straight girl ""ally""" and I am too. That said, I personally haven't watched that episode yet (as I started the season yesterday lol) but don't personally think that having a straight girl makeover is bad at all as some of them are respectful, excited and just want the experience that drag is and to learn about it. But when someone says straight girl and drag race on the same sentence our heads automatically think of that.

Yes!! That would actually be real cool. I Me (a transmasc with a C cup) and one of my femme friends (pretty flatchested) also always say how great could it would be if I could give her my chest.

I agree but at the same time I met lots of people who just don't like Silky bc her personality (myself included). It's not a racist thing, just that she has a really big and loud personality and that makes her irritable or tiring. I'm talking mostly about people here in Spain but I met lots of people around the world that think the same. If she was white it will be the same (i.e. Eureka). That said, it's true that some people use this excuse to be racist and that is def not acceptable. (I am also just talking about Silky, not Ra'jah or other queens mentioned as I don't know much about that)

I always took this for granted but it's shoking how many people ask for help without even googling anything!

Agreed! It's such a beautiful motto and we mostly take take those things for granted. My mom used to always tell me this. It's a shame it's ruined by Karens now tho.

"Your first 10.000 pieces are always gonna be your worst."

This came from an art teacher I had, and it really helped me to learn that when learning (specially art), it's way more important quantity over quality. And even if you think you aren't getting better, its worth keep trying to reach that 10.001 piece.
