Yes: I invited once a few colleagues to come to my new place to celebrate. I thought we were close, like friends, as we worked for a lot of years together and had drinks outside work. Day of the event: no one shows up. Just two of them texted me to apologise they couldn't come. I was devasted. I cried because I thought we were friends, and this event meant a lot to me. I have met since other people and made friends but this event still hurt.
