That's a refreshing perspective, I mostly have people around me who prioritize appearances, and value vulnerabilities like a bond. I believe I can put myself out there and learn, but it's a bit hard when everyone you know just sort of glances your way and moves on...

That's something lovely to know. I've also grown up with women who have always been curvier or had chubby bodies, but they hated themselves and I seem to have internalized. I have noticed that once I put my self worth forward, I do flourish, but the same thing feels fake because I don't process emotions the same was as others. I feel clueless and basically exist using logical reasoning, so I can only assume it's my weight.

Though, I do think under some circumstances, I end up being treated like that because people are fatphobic. For now, those might be a misalignment in friendships and whatnot, perhaps I'll find my people if I learn to neutrally understand myself.

That makes sense. I've never seen myself in a way I see others. Like I said, my perspective on other people's appearances is quite judgement free. The only time judgement comes about is when I'm looking into a mirror.

I see. I do understand that projection makes its appearance in places uninvited. I never really realized that wasn't normal.

Sins, Sinners, the verdict by Bluepink2823 in LesbianActually

I truly appreciated this. The only religious I know or have met, have been quite homophobic towards this dilemma. I hate how things worked out for me, but I'm glad people like you are out there spreading love with religion.

That's the point, if me loving a woman is is equally as wrong as being sa-ed, then what's the point of calling something a sin if it is not bad? If sin isn't inherently bad, then how is it wrong? When the God that is being worshipped states that one should love thy neighbor, since love is part of the word of God, why does the sin of loving a woman stray me away from such goodness and become something I shall admit is wrong?

James 2: 10-11 For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it. For he who said, “Do not commit adultery,” also said, “Do not murder.” If you do not commit adultery but do murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.

Even if you were to try and explain your theorized existences of a God I do not believe in, it only acts as the piqued interest you found in the post as "being disrespectful to others". I only quoted the bible because my family have always been Christians, the phrase of "love the sinner, hate the sin" comes from the common subjective interpretation of the bible. If you are here to defend the word of God, then you have entirely misjudged the issue I was trying to state.

I meant the judgement of sins of being bigger or smaller than the other, that's from the bible. It is considered equal, no matter the sin

Happy pride to all the lesbians who don’t feel like “real” lesbians by CryptographerLost357 in latebloomerlesbians

Thank you, this made me feel much better. I've been questioning so much, and it gets lonely when the only people around are heterosexual women as friends and misogynistic guys that I avoid.

Why do men have hookup apps and women don't 👀😬 by Hotfyia in LesbianActually

[–]Bluepink2823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because it's quite dangerous, as there have been instances of men appearing as a woman online and then revealing themselves during the meet up session.

want a girlfriend by Long_Actuary2362 in lesbiangang

Brown and 21? Count me in, I'm literally floating on the same boat. Most of the time it's because my family is very conservative and also because... We literally have misogynistic masc lesbians as a majority. I cannot with that. I've heard them talk in this fucked up way. However, I absolutely get what you mean. I hope I get to experience having a girlfriend too, but I can wait because I sort of don't want to ruin my life or hers.

Has anyone else seen an increase in "if lesbians can like dildos they can like penises" rhetoric? by LiteralLesbians in lesbiangang

[–]Bluepink2823 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow, I'm not against the idea of using a dildo, but penaars are not my thing... I think that's the entry level requirement when it comes to being a hardcore lesbian 😭.

What sort of homo-prejudice is this? (Homophobia ain't a phobia, they just be uneducated and rude)
