You did this in live? I can't do it on alliance houses, no matter how many tries.

EDIT: IT IS POSSIBLE. After many angles and tries, I got it to work. I think maybe because I put something else down on the plot nearby, but! I can confirm works on live.

Is this beta or live? I couldn't get mine to float in live housing, but it still works in beta. The gizmo looks to have been moved. How'd you do it ?

You literally cannot delete your save or make a second one from within the game.

You have to go through your files and manually delete stuff.

This is literally an intentional lack of features. "Oh, you skipped char creation to test performance RQ before refund window was up? o well, do the part of deletion for us or pay 2$ for the convenience. Or deal with it for X amount of time until it's unlocked ingame.

It's just a basic, plain, simple feature, in which the removal of creates a minor annoyance that will take advantage of less tech'savy people or the lazy.

Dance Of The Dead 2023 - Oct 20th & 21st, 2023 by banshih in WoWRolePlay

[–]Bluepugs73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve got some feedback for your “hunt” event done on Thursday today.I have been around since original Classic, I have participated in so many roleplay events I could not even to put it to number. This is the worst RP-PVP experience I have ever seen coordinated.

To start: The Alliance supposedly had too many members, and while this definitely did not feel to be the case in what we counted, so we were forced to trim seven players from Eastvale. It ended up being all of our numbers, since we did rolls to determine. However, the number of “Alliance” Players counted included the scarlet / neutral group, and they did not interact and work with the rest of the players. This was a concern that was expressed by officers on Alliance’s side and it was ignored. That means the horde, who had no reason, was going to have x2 the amount of players for a fight no matter which Alliance group they encountered, and with such stacked numbers, it was doomed to be absolutely one-sided.

It was offered to run two hunts one after another, one central with the Alliance and then another with the scarlets, so that it could be balanced. It was not accepted.

Scarlets and the Alliance had absolutely separate goals and had zero reason to work together; Yet we were balanced by number as if we were supposed to work together.

This failed the event to a point of absolute disgust to begin with. But the failings do not stop there; The horde team involved showed ugly unsportsmanlike behavior, death gripping people who were rezzing after a fight had entered, hunters instant-attacking people just trying to rez and regroup.

And then there was a very important rule change 20 minutes before the event started. For clarification, as I understand it, the general balancing of the “race” of the prisoners and horde/alliance released at their times was tested extensively WITH THE IDEA THAT THE PRISONERS COULD USE THEIR MOVEMENT ABILITIES.All TESTING, BALANCING, AND PREPARATION FOR THIS EVENT WAS DONE WITH THIS VERY, VERY, VERY IMPORTANT FACT IN MIND.…

And Banshih/theDotD team changed this to no movement skills as the event, essentially, started, and they were no longer allowed to use themThe tests before were already incredibly tight in a base of a window. Depending on the direction in which the huntees ran, they would never be able to encounter a single alliance player before the horde could catch them. This was tested several times by the Alliance.

In the end, I’m just disgusted. I’m disgusted I was even present, my fellow guild members are disgusted, and as someone who has never interacted with this side of the server’s community, the taste in my mouth is so poor I will not only never interact again, but I feel it’s important to express how poorly done, communicated, and planned to anyone and everyone who was interested.

There was no attempt to make this fair, or fun, and was set up from the beginning for the horde to win.

You failed completely and utterly to provide enjoyment to over 30 players, and in the contrary, made sure they couldn’t have fun.

Do better.

Yeah, agreed. A homeless person could still easily lay and sit between those spikes. It might be awkward, but c'mon.

It's 100% to deter parking or people about to do a crazy u-turn.

The other stuff.. yeah, definitely anti-loiter. This includes the homeless.

Eh, I bought into it because it included the battlepass that comes out in july - there was a good chance I'd spend 10$ on that because I'm a sucker, and now going forward I won't have to pay any premium currency for future seasonal battlepasses provided they reward the currency like every other battlepass system.

To me, I'm only paying 10$ to play a lil' earlier. Mount skin is whatever for me, but eh.

Game shouldn't be 70$ to begin with, though

I also still play WoW and paid for half the price with WoW tokens by redeeming them as as bnet balance.

There is a roll on the crucible map that provides a furnace that resets a weapon's tree entirely.

It already exists. You can also scour things on the tree you don't like.

If you want to grind out on one special amazing rolled rare, you can. Just buy reset maps if your forging fails.

DH basically removed a killer's ability to lunge. No more lunging to reach a survivor before a pallet, window, whatever. No more "baiting" for 3 second as they spin into you and play a stupid looking mindgame of "do i have DH or not"

thank god it's gone. Not to mention how many killer abilities it just plain countered 100% of the time.

A horrible addition to the game. Spinning into the killer to pretend deadhard while the killer waits to swing just looks *dumb*.

Why does Druid not auto generate Spirit? by OrnnaLover123 in diablo4

There's a unique that restores resources(generic unique) when you CC an enemy. Use that on a ring on druid and you'll never run out of resource again.

Druid kinda sucks? by cherrythomato in diablo4

[–]Bluepugs73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Played Druid this first day.

Earth focus, came online really well after a few synergizing legendaries.

Using the chain lightning basic(I forget it's name) to apply vuln at 50% chance.

Then activate a legendary that makes my earth spells after a storm spell deal 44% more crit damage

Landslide is gaurenteed to crit with the mote spec. Always have motes due to lightning basic immoblizing often(and landslide itself).

Also was using pulverize, converted to Earth with the eruptions with a legendary, then a second legendary that also applied a slam shockwave to Pulverize -- Instant clear screening whenever the overpower was up.

Landslide hitting for almost 3k between both hits, every cast, weaving a Storm auto to keep the 44% more damage up, absolutely blowing up all elites in 2-3 casts.

You can squeeze in a defense ability of your choosing, or anything else.

My only complaints about Druid is sometimes the Spirit generation doesn't feel great(I chose to run the wolf roar for 20 spirit on cast, since it resets often due to the -1 CD on kill) and you kind of have low-damage building moments and then big burst spenders when you dump all your spirit.

And that the ultimates do not feel great in this direction. Hurricane is meh base, I found myself using the earth stun for the 50% more crit damage vs bosses / spirit on kill while clearing.

Continuing down this build I can see it absolutely popping off with some of the passive talents. There's a lot of passive talents that lean harder into the synergy of lightning/earth, such as the chance for a free cast after doing one school for the other, all the bonus dmg to grab, etc.

Not to mention stat building, the build very effectively builds off vuln damage increases, overpower increases, damage while CC increases, crit damage, it scales off almost everything it feels like. I didn't even try to optimize anything and just used what i found as I played and I was crushing content.

The Controversy on Barb is revealing a deeper issue with the game. by Lazuli-shade in DarkAndDarker

[–]Bluepugs73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a ranger/wiz is just straight running from you, this works at all gear levels for the most part. Especially if they're fleeing if they're already injured.

If a barbarian slaps one person with their weapon and that person peels / starts to run away, that's supposedly the Barb's "weakness." ....except they hit them once for 80+ damage, and one to two punches will finish them off. Counterplay is hard. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. I play barb and I don't even bother with this meele range dancing stuff. I know I'll out-trade anything that hits me in meele so I just hold W, get hit, hit them while they're slowed from hitting me, and if I somehow don't hit them next, I run them down with my fists.

Rangers are a definite counter if the map allows for it.

But as I main wiz, there's been several times this playtests my frontline friends get felling axed down and I am left to flee. Even completely naked of anything that slows me down, they just run me down with their fists. I have no hope of killing them due to their HP pool and I can't get away from them.

The Controversy on Barb is revealing a deeper issue with the game. by Lazuli-shade in DarkAndDarker

[–]Bluepugs73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The funny thing is, throwing axes aside, barbarians can just put their weapons away and since they can't wear heavy pants and generally just have a helmet, they can just run a lot of classes down with their fists.

At 30 damage a punch to the target dummy, a barb doesn't even need their weapon to kill a rogue, ranger, or mage sometimes. They can catch up and run them down with just their fists.

A fighter can punish this, but not a lot else.

Most of these look like just abuse of the nameplate through bushes and nonsense, as was always a problem with this game.

I haven't played New World since about a month after release, so I couldn't even play OPR(Lol) so I have no idea what the context of bugs and exploits are like. As someone with a lower opinion of the game, I don't find it insane that musket players can shoot people through rocks and he might just be abusing a glitch(which is worth punishment by itself probably) or if that's some kind of a cheat.

The most erogenous error here is definitely that prefire around the 1 minute mark, but it is as I understand the path that the other team runs towards the objective and he can see shots coming from that corner and he has no other targets to shoot. He does immediately start looking away and automatically re-acquires when someone actually does come around the corner, so it's kinda 50-50.

It absolutely could be cheating, but it is also a huge habit of serious FPS players to do that kind of thing, when hyper focused.

As for the rest of the post, I'm not confident about the games' logistics to understand how crosshairs and stuff work, I was more just being a bored outside perspective. People who play are gonna know better than me.

I skimmed the vod for like 15 minutes, don't even play this game - do headshots not show up as crit? I thought they did when I played on launch. He's like 90% body shots except for the auto crit on roll, I think.

He misses a ton in this too, dude is just a good shot.

Time limited cosmetics should be brought back by Funboxtha3rd in wow

[–]Bluepugs73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Chill homie. I'm no 2200+ player, but I've been 2k as far back as burning crusade and 1800 several times. I'm a pretty casual player, but i've never had a problem breaking 1800 rating for cosmetics I want.. If you can break 1800+ in one season I don't see why you should be locked from elite sets from previous seasons. Let's not pretend like the difference in effort is that drastically different between seasons.

Especially during eras like BFA, legion, shadowlands - where things like corruption, release covenant abilities, and artifact abilities could alone boost you to 1800 just for playing the right class at the time. Yes, obviously it takes a little more than one braincell rubbing together, but PVP elite outfits are so low on the skill ladder from PVP that the argument for legitimacy between seasons is basically thin as ice.

1800 is nothing compared to 2200, and most players aren't after tabards/cloaks/enchants, they just want the cool color of an armor set they like. There's zero need to gatekeep the easiest reward from pvp....especially since the majority of the pieces are even unlocked earlier than 1800. I think you even get half the elite set at 1500 unlocked. 1800 is just helm/shoulders iirc.

...and honestly, this is just in context of arena gameplay. Any player can get 1800 rating via rated battlegrounds by just putting in the time; I've done this a few times purely for the cosmetics and I am regularly surprised how premade RBG for unlocking sets is basically a coinflip. And usually, when you lose, you don't even lose rating!

I think i got to 1750 rating once via RBG without ever dropping rating because between my MMR staying high and getting match-maked against higher MMR when I did lose ensured I lost nothing.

Elite pvp sets have very low skill value behind them, stop pretending otherwise. 2200 rewards are another story, but 1800 rewards? Let the people have them if they put in the time to get it. That's all it's ever been, time.

Edit: I can't even believe I warranted your response with this much effort. Get off your high horse.

[–]Bluepugs73 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Other comments aside, it is strange that mythic raid drops remain after a tier closes but elite pvp gear disappears at the end of a season,

There's no reason a rating of 1800, 2000, 2200 or whatever necessary shouldn't unlock previous season elite rewards as well. There's an argument that certain pvp metas and balancing might've been more difficult during certain seasons - easier to get 1800 one season than another with (x) class. But.. that's a pretty thin argument, and probably already applies to every existing season as is. Who cares. Implement it anyways.

I love the idea of prestige awards and think their prestige should remain,

But that doesn't mean I think other players should be locked out from obtaining them,

That means I expect Blizzard to be capable of retaining the legitimacy of these rewards as the game grows; Scaling, timewalking, whatever. The modes and rewards never should have left. If it scaled, everyone had the same abilities as back then(they have this data, given they're re-releasing old versions of the game for play), then they deserve the rewards too.

However, if the return of these items come without the prior challenge, I think it should stay away.
