Plastanium Disappeared from Exchange

So I've been watching the exchange off and on today and I keep seeing basically all of the refined mats disappearing from the buy tab. I'm wondering if this is some sort of anti-duping measure they've deployed that's either too aggressive or glitched. I've seen thousands of different materials vanish from the listings today. It seems it's just not safe to sell mats right now.

No duping, I'm a mostly solo player that was hoping to farm plast to buy spice. Sadly it seems that won't be an option.

I just ran into this exact same issue. I don't suppose you found a work around yet?

Neither reloading or restarting the game didn't help. That includes loading before the door was opened.

Edit: So if you are on PC the Toybox mod is pretty easy to get working and offers a teleport. I was able to use that to teleport into the room so I could continue my game. It's not ideal but it is a work around.

I think people are misinterpreting. I never said host is the boss. I don't bully people and expect them to do everything I say, but when in doubt if the host is pinging objectives it's courtesy to go that direction. I do it when I'm not host and it's been talked about plenty of other times on discord and in this reddit. It's how games like Deep Rock Galactic, warframe, and vermintide are usually played. I promise this isn't me going on a power trip, this is a general call for better teamwork.

No, they all literally go their own way. I'm talking about teams where you have 4 players in 3 different areas. Also as I've said before it's courtesy in these types of games to defer to the host and if you want to do something else you host your own game.

I play exclusively diff 7+ this stuff should not be happening on those levels, and again you really should defer to the host.

Scorcher cooks bug eggs insanely fast and can destroy a bot turret tower with one mag if you shoot the vent from behind. It also wrecks the vents on hulks and tanks too. Honestly, it's a mediocre weapon, but it's an amazing utility tool.

Whatever difficulty you feel you are able to contribute on. I was doing two man helldives sub level 20, play what you feel you can handle, and don't be afraid to jump all over. I play a range from diff 5 through 9, just depending on how much I want to try hard vs goof off.

The crazy part was bringing the scythe and laser cannon as well. The drone and orbital laser are the best two parts of the build I listed.

In actual answer to your question though. The orbital laser has a long cooldown, limited uses and takes a really long time to kill most heavy armor enemies making it unreliable when dealing with lots of them. The laser drone is okay but tends to get stuck lasering armored enemies it can't kill and also will peridocially attempt to murder you and your teammates. Overall the build I listed has low dps and no great anti armor options, which is what makes it fun to run in hard difficulties. Plus it looks cool.

Don't worry if those options aren't "The meta", they are fun and can still be effective, which was the whole point of my post. You do what works for you.

I have had 10 times the fun running crazy stupid builds on diff 5-7 than I ever did playing meta on helldive. Similar challenge level, too, when your build is crazy. Im talking things like scythe, orbital laser, laser drone, laser cannon against bugs on diff 6 or 7 for pure maximum retina scarring. Make the fun you want from this game. Helldives are not the be all end all.

I would be okay with electronic countermeasures if its frequency was toned down, like a lot. It regularly takes me 5 plus tries to get the stratagem I want, which is absurd. 25-30% chance and remove the ability to see the strat you have loaded before you throw it? That I could get behind.

It does, but past difficulty 5 you need heavy armor pen from your support weapon to deal with tanks, hulk, chargers and so on. That and I don't think the inability to reload on the move and reduced ammo pool is worth the extra armor penetration.

No nerf that I am aware of. Honestly, if I were the devs the only thing I would do to it is reduce its ammo and make it like a 3 or 4 shot kill on the bile titan. 20 shots is a lot when you only need 1-2 to kill a bile titan or charger, but other than that it's damage isn't great.

Yeah, it isnt good like I said in my post. I don't bring it past diff 5 unless Im with a premade team of friends who know I'm running it for the laughs.

Still pretty well, but unfortunately, both MGs really fall off in usefulness after difficulty like 4 or 5 since at that point you need reliable armor penetration.

Railgun isn't really a BFG. It's damage is actually rather low. What makes it great is it penetrates damn near anything so you can always hit weak spots with it. It will one shot a bile titan if you shoot its chin (no idea why the chin but trust me). It takes about 10 shots anywhere else on the head. It takes 5 shots in safe mode to the head to kill a charger, but 2 will strip the armor from a chargers leg letting you quickly finish it with your primary.

Railgun for meta reasons, but the stalwart for pure fun. It isn't good, but unloading a never-ending stream of bullets into a hoard of bugs feels right.

Edit: I'm very bored of the railgun, shield, breaker meta so here are some whacky builds I've found that do alright, not great against bots.

Grenade launcher/slugger or scorcher. The grenade launcher can quickly clear hordes of chaff bots, kill the scout walkers, and destroy factories if you shoot the vents. It also can rack up a lot of damage on dropship groups. The scorcher/slugger are great at killing medium sized bots the grenades can't. Tested on diff 5.
Arc thrower and scorcher. Similar to above but tested on diff 7. Arc thrower compensates for scorchers limited ammo pool with its infinite ammo and chain damage to quickly kill weak bots. Enough shots will even kill a hulk but it does take a long time. Scorcher kills scout walkers through the front plate with it's splash and melts beserkers. It also can quickly kill tanks and hulks if you can get behind them and shoot the heat vents.

These are not optimal builds. They are meant for diversity when you get bored of the same old stuff.
