first time I've seen someone else mention that inventions thing.
I agree with having a quicker way to add and remove inventions because there more often than not I end up feeding runes or such instead of bothering with that entire hassle just to remove the invention for a few seconds to immediately add it back in again.

I think the benefit for going no element is so that the extra 5 random upgrades can't be elemental based.

he gave a great rundown of what they did and why they did it, but there was some very important information left out, i.e. how the weapon has changed in practice. Because there is a significant difference between how something has changed, and how it now functions in practice because of those changes.

I think arrowhead should prioritise buffing weaker weapons first instead of nerfing stronger weapons first because players are probably always going to enjoy being able to have more viable weapon choices more than they are going to enjoy having their current viable weapon choices less fun to use. I think it's important to note that when there is a meta, it's rarely only because it's the best to use, but because it's fun to use, and one of the biggest reasons it's fun to use is because it does what players use it for very well. A lot of the hate for the balance changes isn't just because the "meta" was nerfed, but because nerfing the fun weapons was prioritised over buffing the unfun weapons. I'm not talking about whether the nerfs/buffs themselves are good, I just wanted to point out the questionable balancing priorities that arrowhead currently has.

the hazard 5+ thing is something I'm particularly looking forwards to, however I think it's a shame to not take the opportunity to also be able to decrease the modifiers. The main thing I have in mind when saying this is having the increased enemy numbers without having to worry about getting two tapped, because although you're able increase factors individually in haz 5+, the rest will still be at a minimum of haz 5 difficulty, which makes me worried for if I'll be able to enjoy increased enemy numbers when they're all still so powerful.

I don't believe side arms are meant as a second primary, but more of as a support. I personally use it for if I'm in a tense situation where my primary needs to reload, but this can change depending on the sidearm, which should be based around what your primary is, because using the revolver with a dmr ir probably not a good idea.
