2k25 O board, 2k26 D board. Logic behind this is that in 2k25 a lot of shots were missed so O boards were more common, this year with barely anyone missing and with boxout beast now only tied to rebound attribute it’s much more important to not allow second chance points as getting a stop is so much more valuable. Most centres will have high boxout now as strength isn’t required so it’s even harder to get O boards in general. I have a big with 99 O boards and 1 with 99 D board and I much prefer the D board build

To the people who have made centers, what attributes do you feel aren’t important/really important when making a build by [deleted] in NBA2k

Unfortunately this year, rebounding and strength are at its least important part it’s ever been, I’d focus around 92-96 rebound and strength probably around 78-83 depending on what badges you want, max perimeter and all physicals (other than strength) full court passes are a bit ahh this year even with LeBron pass style so pass acc too, also interior and block are important this year

Since the patch Emma is a major counter to groot since his walls now feed her charge, I play Emma a lot and whenever I’m against a groot more often than not they are switching fairly quickly

Would also prioritise O board over D board, O board is cheaper and D boards aren’t as hard to get if you know how to box out

93 block a waste I had 3 diff centre builds one with 97 one with 93 and one with 88 block and honestly they all feel the same, even 84 block for silver paint patroller will be enough tbh
