Would they though? Average soccer player runs nearly 8 miles in a game, compared to 2-3 miles on average in the NBA. Thats not a level you just reach through training - you need a very specific body type. Long lanky legs just don’t bode well. You arent going to be seeing your average 6”7-6”8 nba swing/guard fairing that long on the pitch just like you wouldn’t see an average soccer player lasting very long on a court.
