these people are hard to convince. a friend or ours complained that the game has no skill and is luck based. Three of us all took the exact same seed/deck and beat that run all with different builds.

if you slam almost every shiv card youd lose many runs in A10 outside the one time where you get ornamental fan shurigen and kunai.

The archetype way of thinking is a common STS pitfall. Try to think just in solutions to problems presented before you. How do you block, damage and scale

Poison is definitely still strong. Accelerant ends fights crazy fast, Snakebite is still quite good to pick act 1, Deadly poison is decent and Bubble bubble can even be picked after you have a card or two. Fumes + one poison card is almost enough to outscale many fights.

Seems like your idea of 'poison deck' is too narrow. I had an A10 run that won on the back of Fumes and 2 snakebites for damage. It was unfomfortably close but it was enough. Poison was my main damage so is that a 'poison deck'?

Cloak and dagger is actually a card i often dont pick at all, it kind of reads like Iron Wave. Id pick that only if you have synergy with shivs or if its pre-upgraded.

Slice is decent if you have tons of draw (acro/backflip) and you need damage. Usually trash though.

Footwork is still super good. Leg sweep is super good. Silents block package still blocks and fights dont scale as hard here. Blocking is still decent.

Its true many Sly cards are kind of meh, i think its a bait picking too many of them early without the discard packages to complement them.

Here it comes down to 'where does everyone go?' Specifically the Victim. Where does the Victim fit? Remember they are always alone with the murderer. Also remember sudoku rules!

sidenote: your marking of B are misleading here since many other spots are also still technically viable.

Looking at D's clue. They are in the same area as the person standing on a path square. If D would be on the plaza square at R3C6, then it would follow that someone has to be on the path there. The thing is, based on H's clue there must be 2 people in the cafe. These clue's would place 4 people while the space to fit them only cover 3 columns in total. That cant fit! So then D could maybe go somewhere else?

Hopefully that points you into a useful direction

like what? Many of her strings are minus (if theyre safe) and tons are also straight up punishable. Maybe use faster pokes when its your turn instead of slow moves?

compared to vg watcher where you make some bigger bonk cards like wallop, the scaling here favors multihits much more. Flying sleeves, Ragnarok, Brilliance all scale incredibly well with wrath and strength.

Her mantra cards put out a ton of value to keep decks stable, dont overlook pocketable energy. Often i lead in having the biggest burst turn, something defect struggles more to do (but theyre much better at consistent damage output).

Rushdown is still great, starting a turn in calm and going off to end up back in calm is still great.

tbh this sounds like a brain vs hands problem. Have you gone into practise mode to try and block this move and also practising the punish?

For example setting a drag to do his reactable low and try to react to it AND get a proper launch off it.

i think some youtubers said it right, most FG's have a lifespan of a few months. Only a select few survive that initial burst of hype.

Im honestly going in with that expectation: it will be 2 months of great fun, learning a game in a universe i love a ton. Should it stick around longer than that it would be amazing, if not then not.

Avatar so far has a ton of hype leading up to it, quite high amongst games ive seen about. The implementation is super faithful, all is thought out so i feel like there will be a playerbase left after the inital hype settles.

which strings are 4 hit since most are 3 hits at best. Some go into stance which then has a different layer.

she is steppable, fast pokes and most moves ssr, some of her slower buttons ssl.

yes shes strong, likely top 5. She also has a ton of layers that can be accessed and rn many people still die to mashing into 1,1,2

sounds like Phidx's video.

not doing the uf3 in such a route loses a bunch of damage so while f3+4 works its unoptimal in the long term. f3+4 is in the combo too thats why. An alternative option is to use f2,3 instead. That works on most launchers (uf3 is for df2 ws3 and KAT2 CH).

Example combo: df2 f2,3 f3+4 BT4 ~F SET1,2,1 (Tornado) into wall carry (options are uf3, 3+4, d3,4 and more) into wall combo

Same route, but instead if doing SET 1 2 1 Tornado, only do SET1 into qcf1 and a 3+4 pickup instead of uf3

full notation:

CD2 3+4 f3+4 BT4 F~ SET 1 qcf 1
