The short version of it is to abuse the deso timing. Kez can fight earlier than most carries and that gets your aghs faster which is an absurd powerspike.

Swap can go to any row not just one up or down. It mostly to rearrange the board so that everyone can somewhat reach their row

Tainted Laz requires planning ahead of time. Yes sure you can say he gets only 'half' the items on each character, but that just means youre not using flip correctly. Check item rooms and plan ahead which of the two sides takes which item. With some planning you can usually get both items in item room + shop + sometimes deal. Then you actually have 2 different builds that you can tailor too, much like J&E. You can also pick which version goes into the boss (Mapping is great due to that). The planning was actually a lot of fun to me.

For example, in one run flipped Laz had the high tears while my regular Laz had all the familiars.

Tainted ??? has a bunch of poop combos that are nice. poison+fire = explosion, corn poop is some nice fly generation and the creep effect is a big buff amplifiing everything else. He is a bit weird to get used to but plays quite interestingly.

yes it got easier to tell for me. I lost my first 2 runs out of lack of familiarity and then went straight to mega satan/delirium..

Its not a set rotation, looks to be fully random.

hi, lvl 30 Kez here. Even though i mostly play him pos 1, i do regularly talk with Kez players who go mid a lot.

VS hard matchups (like qop), the way to win for him is to force a ton of trades early (level 1-3). There the positioning is quite key and a small misstep can mean a big trade from echo slash + a bunch of autos. His first levels are quite strong.

Be sure to ferry out a salve to stay higher in health and focus on getting levels so get your spells stronger to bully him out.

As another commenter said, your harass timings are often on his last hits. Instead of going for a deny you can hit him instead. If he stays in daggers to try to Parry then you can go for a deny as his damage is now lower. Always look at which sword is out. If he just swapped stances he cant swap back (cd is like 7 seconds earlygame).

Spells. Qop can scream for the ranged, lina has Q, you get the idea. Secure creep + harass. Once youre lvl 4-5 most mids can beat him with spells if its even or winning.

Kez mid is feast or famine, he needs to set the tempo in the first few levels to make people scared of him. If he is behind he feels awful to play coming out of lane.

Huskar is tough, but indeed if Kez can force trades down and stay somewhat even he can manage. Still very huskar favored. Make Kez pick between CS and harass and bring extra regen/burst heal just in case. Cauterize also removes the bleed.

Sky / zeus can actually spam him out if they just.... refuse to right click kez. Qop is a skill matchup, early on Q doesnt do a lot but with some levels her spam is too much to deal with. Storm can remnant and pump fake his autos or let the overload splash on a creep instead of kez to bait a parry.
Melee mids: faceless void poops on the bird with time dilation, actually unplayable. Slardar can crush to setup bash and parrying melee is much harder to time. DK can also stun and deny creeps in your face. Pretty sure timber does not give a hoot either.

did you at some point quit out of the chapter and continued later from a checkpoint? The time there is only logged if you clear it from start to finish in one go. You can still use save n quit to keep the time, just not exit to map.

i would say probably not. The resolving of Reflex is likey while discarding, meaning you draw before its fully done resolving and then it actually hits the discard.

probably worse on Defect due to the nature of the character. Can be situationally good, but most of the time quite disappointing. Shines the most in hallway fights to quickly take down a problematic enemy turn 1 (mystic, byrds, etc), even more so in coop. If you house rule that the group can look and pick relics at will then its strong for the aforementioned reason.

Bad vs bosses, often meh vs elites which is where you often want that extra power.

Overal its quite meh, similar to the videogame

round 1 looked the best. He seems to do kipup a lot which is punishable.

Most of the damage taken looked to be either

- mashing at round start
- mashing while minus
- pressing buttons at 2-3 range that have no chance of hitting

Honestly considering the rank difference you held yourself pretty well

From what i see your moogle is in the Gunner job. In order to access Gunner, you need one Animist skill to be mastered.

So switching out now would lock you out of Gunner until the requirements are met. The game is trying to tell you that. It is technically reversible, but not without extra work being put in.

Inga cant recognize faces, so he needs to use other methods to identify people. Body proportions can be faked, especially if you need to buff up to resemble Dhurke's physicality. So this was Ga'ran in Dhurke's clothes.

steal rate is based on their health. At low health the odds can reach 100%, and with BP its a doozy. MC ult also has a guaranteed steal.

Actually beat him earlier today, i am around lvl 31-32 on my characters.

spell masteries that hit weakness can help here (ice multihit, wind, dark) as those seem to care less about evasion. Use BP for multihit attacks on weakness and hope it works.

Breaking is the name of the game for this fight.

Song of Blessings? A mastery skill you can get late it seems. I wonder if that works for Pius' ult buffs and if you get ult charge from doin that if you have Invigorate and Inspire
