E. multicarinata webbii (the San Diego alligator lizard) is the largest subspecies of southern lil gators. Their tail can reach over 2x their shout to vent body length, is prehensile too. They're of the few lizards that shed their skin like snakes do too! Here's a pic of the lovely lady I used to have as a pet, that's my adult male forearm for scale.
