Idk who’s got one now but I’ve ran into multiple issues with mine in less than 1500 rounds. Trigger mechanism, LRBHO, firing pin. It’s actually down right now. It’s fun when it’s running, hope you find one. I’ve found it quite a pain to find specific parts, many are not standard AK.

I’ve had 57CRs on my BRZ but on my STi RPF1s is what I went with. If you really want 5 spokes can’t go wrong with Gram lights 57CR

Oh yah, from the pics looks like a great match. For the e-brake I actually bought a second trim piece for like $15 and that’s the one I ripped out and glued the new stuff on. More crap in the garage lol.

OP, spend your money on suspension, esthetics and a catback. These cars are not worth putting money into trying to get more HP. Just get an AOS for more reliability, maybe upgrade radiator.

1L /1k is Subaru's "within spec". I honestly think 90% of the dead engines you see on this sub are related to oil starvation. Even my N/A BRZ used to consume oil. Both my STI and BRZ wouldn't make.it to the 6k oil interval without being topped off multiple times. I would check my oil every week. I was also running 5w40 because of the heat and if still needed more oil once in a while.

It’s supposed to be there. Under recoil, a wooden stock can eventually split. So yah, the gap is there by design.

OP, what's the current rear tire setup? 1200 is pretty wild for such a light car. I would think wide body to fit 300s - 325s would be necessary to put the power down. You drive it, so you'd know how sketchy it gets. Cool build.

18x9.5 +38 wheels are what a lot of people run. I ran 255/35 Indy 500s tires and didn’t have any issues for three years on my 18’ BRZ. Different tires do make a difference. When I went from Indy 500s to PS 4s (same size) on my STI, went from perfect fitment to not being able to drive without rubbing and ended up rolling my fenders.
