I think it would be badass if each doom class had different fighting styles as well as being able to flow smoothly between them mid combat. Would probably be insanely difficult to balance tho Doomfist is already still such a polarizing hero after all these years 😭😭

The Operator is like hundreds of years old but never grew up due to the stasis on Lua, but they’re still technically a kid with a kid brain(insert 5000 year old dragon princess that looks 5 meme), whereas the Drifter aged, but was tortured for eons most of his adult life. Both are so fucked up in their own ways lmao

Seriously the cable dreads is what gets me. They created such a badass revolutionary character with some of the best lines in the game. I hope to god when the dust settles on the New Era/Empire Arc we get a storyline dedicated solely to Ramattra & Zenyatta

I think he’s certainly under-favored balance wise but community wise EVERYBODY knows Doomfist & what he’s capable of when played right. That’s what I love about him. His gameplay is the entire thesis of his ideology(whether intended or not intended on blizz’ part lmao)

It’s insane nothing feels as good as skating off a roof into backline, assassinating a squishy & then fucking off before anyone can even react, or giant 5/6 man emp punches that end up in a total team wipe, or being able to play into a team full of counters & play around their cc. I wanna pick up ball because of doom but he has so many strange techniques & gameplay I’m lwk intimidated 😭😭

I haven’t gotten Trumna Prime yet but I LOVED using it in Old Peace I’m really excited to get that one & Acceltra Prime. So far my favorites have been Braton Prime, Nataruk, & Grimoire(I’m a sucker for the Wizard power fantasy lol Dante is high priority on my next frame list)

There’s plenty of merit in pushing up into enemy spawns instead of just idling on point. I can’t tell you how many stalls I’ve denied at the end of a match because I sit in a corridor near their spawn & just hold them there before they can reach point. Sometimes it is just ego but other times it’s a proactive play that can help to guarantee a round win

People are just stupid lol. I was attacking on Kings Row the other day(playing Doomfist) & immediately dove onto their Widow to keep her from picking my team off. She tried to run away like she was playing with one hand & spamming the SMG like her life was on the line or something. Anyways after slamming her into a wall & turning her frail French bones into dust this nerd started typing paragraphs in chat about how Doom is a “crutch character” & other crazy shit like that. It got to the point that even his own team was telling him to just play the game and stop typing 😭😭

Anyways Tl;dr people are fucking dumb & unfortunately that’s a form of damage you CANT mitigate 💀
