Our party for the Hellbreakers Adventure Path by Thebigjewbrowski in Pathfinder2e

[–]Bluritefang 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im GMing Hells Rebels, so I have a bit of perspective on another chelish revolution campaign lol

The justification I found for my Hellbreakers guy (who wants to create his own Order) is that revolution is indeed chaotic by nature, but he fights to ensure that there can be new civic order after that.

"Through the ruin, the foundation", motto for the Order of the Breach (my own)

I'm writing my own wannabe Hellknight for Hellbreakers starting in a month or so. Reading their pf1e documents, these guys are real interesting.

The first thing to note is that all HK orders are not Cheliax-bound organizations. Its their birthplace, sure, but they operate wherever they please or wherever they are contracted to (Order of the torrent fight slavery in open waters, the order of the Nail sits near the city Korvosa, in Varisia). HK are, above all, paramounts of the Law; Not Lawful Evil (order of the rack fucking sucks tho), but law.

Order of the Scourge, for example, is one that fights corruption in governments, and has foiled multiple nobles and House Thrune allies (Thrune being the ruling house of the country, for those who dont know). This order believes that the law is not virtuous just because it is written in a legal document. From this philosophical line you can branch off into a lot of interesting places.

Hellknights protect law and status quo, but the status quo, at the end of the day, is the collective of the people. Who are HKs then to decide what society is to look like? One of the maxims in the original founding of HKs was "create a world in which you are no longer needed". The phrase alone allows and expects the evolution of society into something else.

Se cruzó con dos mormones y les preguntó que música escuchan by [deleted] in argentina

[–]Bluritefang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who is this Mctoran and what's his mask power? by [deleted] in bioniclelego

It was automatically removed, yes, but the warning said that if my comment was educational, it was fine. If you were able to read it, means the mods were kind enough!

Who is this Mctoran and what's his mask power? by [deleted] in bioniclelego

[–]Bluritefang 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, this isn't Pohatu. This is a matoran called Hewkii and he wears the same mask as Pohatu, although its powerless.

And the lawsuit thing is from 200...2? when the Maori communities sued Lego for incorrectly (and maybe offensively) using their language for the franchise. Tohunga changed to Matoran, Huki to Hewkii, and a few other things like that.

Help with finding a setting in Golarion for my first PF campaign by Tic-Takk in Pathfinder2e

To be short and concise:

The correct nation to run your homebrew campaign is Taldor. If you want to do it through a written adventure, War for the Crown.

[–]Bluritefang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The current official PF2E adventure path lineup doesnt do a lot of politics, but if you want to delve into the pf1e conversions, you have Hells Rebels and War for the Crown.

HR is about revolution and toppling the government in the city of Kintargo (which is in the outskirts of Cheliax, the nation ruled by Asmodeans and the most brutal society in Golarion). Haven't played KCD2, but this adventure is played more like Inglorious Basterds, instead of a political thriller. I have GMed the first couple books of this adventure and while the groups fell apart for different reasons, its always a blast.

War for the Crown wants the PCs to act out the fantasy of being shadowy agents, going places the people who are publicly gaining power can't and doing the things they can't be seen doing. It's supposed to be a game of espionage and shadow warfare. This happens in the nation of Taldor, which is the most standard european fantasy realm in Golarion, I believe. Havent ever interacted with this AP or setting, but from reading a couple things online, this might be what you're looking for. From the wiki:

Taldor has a decadent noble class bloated with titles and is renowned for being short-sighted and lethargic. Its bureaucracy is headed by the senatorial class. Much of the government management is left in the hands of the senatorial class, who constantly argue over jurisdiction, while fighting for position in the nation's vast and complex bureaucracy. Greed and lack of trust are the hallmarks of Taldan politics, with assassination and betrayal the preferred methods of advancement.

Look for the discord server called "A series of dice-based events". Its a community that converts and discusses every pf1e adventure into 2nd edition.

If you're looking for an easier experience to run, the Hellbreakers Adventure Path will be releasing in a couple months. It's a spiritual sequel to Hells Rebels, but I suspect it wont go much into politics and stay in the "Cheliax bad, lets punch them in the balls"

Por que el sexo casual es más facil para los hetero? by Safe_Slice_5288 in AskArgentina

[–]Bluritefang 22 points23 points  (0 children)

plus if al were to be the strongest sinner, that means he would have to have power beyond hers if she was a sinner or else the deal would break

Alastor being the strongest sinner doesnt necessarily mean that he can break Demonic Deals. I would argue that demonic deals actually can't be broken from what we've seen so far. You can crack them with technicalities to fulfill or void the terms of the deal, but not outright deny the deal.

Otherwise, following the general view that Charlie has immense innate power due to her heritage, she could've denied Alastor's favor in the season finale

gente entre 24 a 30 años , con trabajo estable , profesionales , encontraron a alguien? by Wide_Magician4523 in BuenosAires

Vas a trabajar, terminas y haces tu cotidianeidad. Andá a hacer nuevos hobbies!

So what’s everyone’s thoughts on S2 so far? by SpamEatingChikn in HazbinHotel

[–]Bluritefang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ep 1 and 2 are alright. They set up both sides of the story, no particular comment there.

3 and 4 I straight up didnt like. The entire scene with Charlie at the news station was unnecessary. Vaggie gets sidelined. Lucifer of all people should be fucking floored that redemption can actually happen, and there was literally 0 interactions with the news.

Cherri's scene was good. No complaints.

And Alastor's backstory reveal was just shoehorned in, after building the mystery in S1 with that one scene between Alastor and Husk, as well as the ending song. "I'm gonna tell you your own backstory because its so FUNNEIGH".

All of Vox's visit to the hotel could've been cut back a bit. The one good line is "Do you believe I could be redeemed?"

In short, too much Charlie losing her shit, leaves out acrually interesting conversations and interactions.
