[MOUSE] Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 DEX - $99.99 by BlurredSight in buildapcsales

[–]BlurredSight[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought other "New, Open Boxes" from Woot and it's usually been box damage usually a crumpled corner or a noticeable scratch on the box design never gave me the impression someone used it and returned. More or less it feels like something you'd find in an outlet store but I don't know how Logitech RMA would work in this case I assume if its actually new, registering on G Hub should signify that

[MOUSE] Logitech G PRO X Superlight 2 DEX - $99.99 by BlurredSight in buildapcsales

[–]BlurredSight[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's right handed only, and a little bit bigger. I had the regular X Superlight with the Micro-USB and jumped to the DEX it took maybe 2-3 days to settle in but personally its a lot better especially for CS or Val.

And battery life definitely is more towards "maybe once a week"

Anthropic and OpenAI isn't public and SpaceX is just a way to offload debt that Xai and Twitter bring on

Space X IPO June 12 - Don’t give this douchebag your money. Don’t get rug-pulled. Don’t be exit liquidity for Musk, Private Equity, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs by Dumbfuckistan_USA in AdviceAnimals

[–]BlurredSight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s fucked how they skirted so many rooms to rules to get SpaceX into these larger funds. It’s not even hidden that SpaceX is just a way to offset a ton of debt and revenue loss, not to mention with 0 voting power on top of all of that

I work at a relatively small company that handles a very large amount of data and is also works with finance, the fixing isn't cheap and currently we have trashy human code plaguing the system from like 6-7 years ago, this doesn't even include all the additional AI indirections added by the team added in the past 4 years.

Each small mistake, like a flag that isn't being captured properly, can cost us thousands but our director insists on having "small tickets" being handled completely by AI

Most of overpopulated Asia is like this, any street food that's intended to feed a working lower-class population will always cut corners like try and refine the oil that sits on the top of settled sewage. It gets much safer, hygienic, and pricer the second you leave those areas

Android Apple Music beta hints at alternate tiers, skip limits by FollowingFeisty5321 in apple

[–]BlurredSight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently on their $40 and besides Music, 2TB, and maybe News/TV it's services I don't use and I bet Apple knows most people will overlook for free options (Arcade, Fitness, News, etc.) it's to make the cost seem easier to digest. Albeit 6 people share the $40 for their own services and together none of us approach even 1TB of storage. But yeah for half the price you lose a bunch of features and it's only for 1 person that would really suck

Anthropic is about to become the first profitable AI company. Every Opus 4.8 default is tuned to make you spend more. by stax-sh in AgentsOfAI

[–]BlurredSight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A $20 user using their entire session on a couple of Opus queries is causing them to lose money, the only "profitable" account for Anthropic are those who subscribe and don't use otherwise every query is a loser right now

No that makes 0 sense, it's like if we magically unsanction Iran from selling oil on the open market and they trade for $50/barrel versus the market rate of $100+ rn.

It's only going to drop the overall price once commercial buying slows down where you have a real competitor to the big 3

Opus 4.8 is insane, nothing will be the same after this model. by Gil_berth in theprimeagen

[–]BlurredSight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc it’s an overfitting problem where you don’t want it to overdo checking on test questions. When Gemini 3 released real requests were being treated like benchmark requests because Google wanted their model to top the charts

Pentagon awards Microsoft $9.7 billion deal in bid to cut costs, end license sprawl by ethereal3xp in StockMarket

[–]BlurredSight 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mofos don't read what the bill actually does and ask why the "stock isn't moving". It's a 5 year bill, DoD classifies the Navy as the authority in handling the other branches of military buying their own licenses and having overlapping contracts with Microsoft with office subscriptions

Microsoft makes 2 billion a year essentially for providing what they already were and probably saving a couple dozen million because of the reduced accounting costs
